AHSOKA Rumored To Include Multiple Actresses Playing The STAR WARS Hero Across Various Periods In Her Life

Some new details about Disney+'s upcoming Ahsoka series have found their way online, with the suggestion being that multiple actresses will bring Ahsoka Tano to life as we revisit key moments in her past.

Despite a rocky start, it took no time at all for Ahsoka Tano to become one of the Star Wars franchise's most beloved characters. Her live-action debut in The Mandalorian was celebrated by fans, with Rosario Dawson taking over the role from Ashley Eckstein in the series. Despite that, the latter continues to lend her voice to the hero in any and all animated projects.

Dawson later reprised the role - alongside Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker - in The Book of Boba Fett, and will soon take centre stage in her own spin-off series Ahsoka.

There's a huge amount of excitement for the show, and Making Star Wars (via SFFGazette.com) has now shared some new intel. The site explains that we'll see Ahsoka Tano across multiple eras, primarily thanks to her visiting The World Between Worlds again. There, she will be able to revisit key moments from her life, including her younger years in The Clone Wars

We'll see Ahsoka in her teens, another currently undisclosed era, and the version who showed up at the end of Star Wars Rebels in the white robes.

The latter is likely to be played by Dawson, of course, though another actress has been cast as the younger Ahsoka who isn't played by her or Eckstein. The site goes on to speculate that the latter could lend her voice to whoever this mystery performer is, creating a link between the animated and live-action versions of the character.

This all sounds like a really fun way to familiarise Star Wars fans who perhaps haven't watched The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. It's become clear Ahsoka is vitally important to the franchise in future, and we're sure this spin-off series won't be the last time we see the former Jedi in action.

A lot of details are starting to find their way online about Lucasfilm's plans for the series, and you find some exciting new rumours about Darth Vader's return by clicking here

Ahsoka is set to premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2023.

Worlds between worlds, baby.

This would be a nice way to get an Ashley Eckstein cameo.

Also it'd be nice to see some other timelines such as the old EU (maybe Star Wars: Legacy?).

Also REBOOT THE SEQUEL TRILOGY! Show Rise of Skywalker as an alternate, possible future and have things start to take a different path.

@ObserverIO - rumour has it the World Between Worlds is gonna show different ways stories played out, but always end the same way.

Could go for the sequels as well. Even though we're stuck with this version, they could always show an alternate version of it.

@bkmeijer1 - That'd be cool. The endings that we know of (the sequel trilogy, Duel of the Fates, George Lucas' Episode VII, the Expanded Universe) all shared certain motifs.

They all focus on the next generation of Skywalkers where we first have a young male hero who then is seduced by the dark side and then we have a female hero who brings him back, for instance (whether it's Rey or Jaina or Kira).

@ObserverIO - didn't even think of that yet, but that's a big coincidence.

Think there be an additional angle to it though to really count as ''destiny'' though. As bad as TROS was, I think the Dyad does offer that.

See it as the Force Monad (Anakin) had to bring balance to the force, and it's up to the Force Dyad to keep it.

@bkmeijer1 - I like that take.
Anything that makes Rise of Skywalker better is welcome.

@ObserverIO - I got a lot more things TROS (and the sequels in general) did accidentally, but can be expanded greatly upon if done right.

But yeah, it's the same for me. I come up with those things for myself so that it all can mean something.

Well I'm definitely looking forward to watch Ahsoka. Watching her character development through Clone Wars & Rebels has been fun and the little that we've seen of Dawson in the role has been solid.

Love to hear we are getting more Christensen as Anakin and finally going to see some live action Clone Wars interaction with him and Ahsoka.

After Andor I am pumped for some more live action Star Wars!

Lucky for me I've watched both Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels since the beginning; still it will be fun to see key moment recreated in live-action for those who never watched the animated shows!

Would be great if they get Eckstein as the Ahsoka from the Rebels era. Even if it's just dubbing for a stunt double.
