New VENOM Trailer Brings Violence, Mayhem, And Plenty Of Action In Blistering 3-Minute Preview

Well, I think it's fair to say that this is going to leave you all talking. The new trailer for Venom (which premiered at the San Diego Comic-Con last weekend) has been released by Sony Pictures today and, well, it's certainly something! There's plenty of shots of the symbiote in action which should make fans of the source material happy but the overall tone and story seem to leave an awful lot to be desired.

The preview runs for a whopping three minutes and while the extended scene at the end featuring Eddie Brock threatening to eat some poor guy's brains is probably something of a money shot in the studio's eyes, it's actually pretty cringe-worthy and will leave you aghast at how bad the special effects are. Needless to say, you can definitely tell Venom was produced by Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach!

We'll let you share your thoughts on the trailer below and there are definitely some cool moments in here to check out (Venom vs, Riot looks like fun). Check back later for our breakdown of the footage!
