There's now less than a month to go until Venom is released in theaters and it's now been revealed that a new digital prequel comic is coming later today on Marvel.com which will tie into that. Presumably, we'll be spending time with Eddie Brock when he was just a regular reporter but there are bound to be hints about his transformation into Venom so we'll be sure to bring you the details ASAP.

For now, a cool new comic book cover has been revealed featuring Tom Hardy's version of the hero.

Fans will actually be able to acquire one of these limited edition comics if they purchase their tickets at AMC Theaters for opening weekend and it's written by Sean Ryan with art from Szymon Kudranski. The cover below was done by SKAN. Are you excited to see what's to come in this prequel adventure for Venom or have you guys lost interest in the movie since it was revealed it will be rated PG-13

Damn that's pretty good art, would dig seeing hardy in the mcu.

On a side note saw The Predator, Its pretty goddamn awesome.

The predator and the characters feel like they came right from the original 2 movies.

Hope people don't go by the trailers, it has to be seen to get what Black is trying to do.

Its not so much as funny, but has some real world, much needed in film, grit.

Cool, but isnt this a prequel to a movie that has Eddie get the symbiote? Why is he on the cover as venom when at the most hes just gonna be a reporter throughout this story?

Getting this comic makes me want to see the movie more than actually seeing the movie.

Like it better than the one-sheet.

I am truly up in the air about this movie. I really really really really want it to do well, but I also really really really really believe is could have been better handled through the MCU. How great would it have been in an after credits Affinity War, where Spidey caught mantis and after they were rolling around and as Spidey is attempting to get up, this small black goop jumps on the his calf and then the scene cuts out... OH, red tape, why do you have to do this to us!!!

So is this a tie in comic? If so these things are usually not very good at all.

I watched the trailer again yesterday and his accent/dialogue delivery is insanely bad.
