According to Variety, MGM have brought Marti Nixon -- best known for her work on Joss Whedon's Buffy The Vampire Slayer -- to write the script for their Tomb Raider reboot. The site say story details are still unknown, but that the movie will "likely follow archaeologist Lara Croft as she sets off on one of her international adventures." I think that's a long shot myself! Noxon made her name as a tv showrunner but her film credits include Fright Night and I Am Number 4. The reboot will be produced by Graham King through his GK Films banner.
