This week,
MARVEL Contest of Champions, the popular mobile fighting game from developer Kabam, has added a new fighter to the roster. Emma Frost, former White Queen of the Hellfire Club and leader of the X-Men, will look to wreak havoc on opponents.
Described as an "incredibly powerful mutant, with a brilliant mind to match," Emma Frost possesses powerful telepathic abilities along with the ability to transform her body into organic diamond, rendering herself nearly indestructible.
Both of these powers work in tandem as Frost's passive ability sees her switch between forms depending on how the match is playing out. Emma Frost starts the fight in Diamond Form, a more defensive form that boosts her defensive stats and makes her immune to all of the most common Debuffs in the game, including Stun, which means she isn’t stopped by the Parry mastery. She remains in this form until she is at least one Power Level ahead of the opponent, at which point she switches to Telepath Form, a more offensively-focused form which emphasizes the attack.
