I don't there will be much blood, they are gonna try for PG-13 is my guess. We won't be lucky enough to get an R rated Wolvie movie

This is in a PG-13 movie, not much blood but still very violent.

I can't seem to make up my kind which I think will be the best comicbook movie of 2013. It's Wolverine or Thor: The Dark World for sure. Iron Man 3 could've been the best but had way too much humor, Man of Steel didn't have enough substance and didn't have the fun of a comicbook movie (The Dark Knight trilogy even had moments of fun). The Wolverine will probably be the best film of the superhero genre of 2013 but Thor will be the best comicbook movie.

This train sequence was really cool and intense. James Mangold is delivering the goods. Watch 3:10 to Yuma and try telling me different. An R rated Wolverine isn't necessary, same with an R rated Ghost Rider. You people are ridiculous.

All these movies make Wolverine look like Jackie Chan, in that they make everything the Wolverine does is on accident, instead of him simply being "good at what he does". I hate seeing every opponent having the same ability to deal with obstacles as Wolverine does. Wolverine is supposed to be between 150 and 200 years old, having fought in many wars, trained by the best fighters in the world, as well as besting some of the most powerful mutants. All of this having been accomplished before going to Japan (in this film's time line). Sop why isn't any of that experience paying off?

@KingTrav33 Wish i could agree brother. I think he is powered up there. Notice no blood on the claw holes. That was a big deal in the first movie about how it hurts "every time". Could be wrong, but Mangold might have powered him down some for tension on screen, which probably wont play well to this crowd...

Oh, for the love of god, enough with the real Wolverine bullshit.

If you think even Marvel Studios would greenlight an R-rated X-Men film you're sorely mistaken.

The X-Men franchise makes its money off of the PG-13 audience.

Marvel Studios has yet to show they care more about comic accuracy than money.

This looks pretty sick, heroes have always had epic fights on trains.
Fogs

Hmm.... OK scene, I have 2 complaints only:

- no blood, anywhere. Again Wolverine is kind of a barking only dog with the claws.
- that last scene... Why would he fly like that? His speed is the same as the train, that's exactly why he could jump that obstable with the yakuza. I got the feeling they're forgetting about the physics when convenient just like in Origins.

@batz11 - WTF is that man!!! Sorcery!

That was some boss shit! Wolverine is finally getting a movie deserving of his greatness! #TheWolverine

wookiefit - 7/8/2013, 10:13 AM
@KingSilence - Completely agree. He's supposed to be "the best at what he does". But what is that? Is it getting his but served to him? In the movies he only seems to win in the end because he has a healing factor, surprises his enemy, and/or luck. He's supposed to be a trained killer.
