Critics' Choice Awards Results: It Was A Good Night For AVENGERS: ENDGAME, JOKER, And WATCHMEN

While many critics still look down their nose at comic book adaptations, it was a good night for the genre at last night's Critics' Choice Awards and you can find the full list of winners after the jump...

Later today, we'll get the full list of nominees for this year's Academy Awards, but in the meantime, we have the winners from last night's Critics' Choice Awards!

They cover both film and TV, and while superheroes didn't have a massive presence, Avengers: Endgame picked up some noteworthy awards, as did Joker and HBO's Watchmen. There's speculation that both of those movies will compete for "Best Picture" at the Oscars, but only the latter stands a real chance and that's not been picking up many awards aside from Joaquin Phoenix's lead performance.

As a result, it could be a while before we see a Marvel or DC comic book adaptation win big at the Academy Awards, but at least they're doing well elsewhere based on these results.

So, to check out the full list of winners from the event, simply hit the "View List" button below!

I know that these kinds of awards are subjective when voted on by a select group of people, but considering the list and caliber of nominated movies for best picture, there’s no way that Once Upon a Time in Hollywood should’ve won.

Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is not that great of a movie. I can't understand how it's winning all of these awards.

@LadiesmanBumble - I liked it way more than Hateful Eight and Django Unchained, but yeah if you know nothing about the Manson murders before watching it, you'll have no idea of the significance of the ending.

Laura Dern has won a few awards now for Supporting actor/actress in Marriage Story.

I watched that film and i've never been as bored in any other film, regardless of that though, Laura Dern has about 2 scenes and maybe 5 minutes of screen time.

I can't remember any of her lines or any memorable moments that she's in

Regina King absolutely deserved the win, but I think one of the surprise MVPs of the show was Yahya Abdul Matteen II. Dude choked me up when he talked about “the moment”. Bright career ahead of him

@tmp3

Dude was great. Especially in those last eps obviously...I also didn't like his design very much. I think they made him look too human?

How about these Oscars, dude?

@regularmovieguy - Something I loved about the show was that all the designs served a purpose thematically; him looking more human represented his attachment to humanity growing back; a growth that started at the end of the book when he’s with Laurie on Mars. From that regard I thought it worked really well, even if he looked really funky. But man, really happy to see Yahya score so many big roles now between the new Sorkin and Matrix 4
