Avengers: Infinity War is going to be a huge movie and much of that boils down to how many characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe we're going to see on the big screen at the same time.

One of those is Tony Stark's Hulkbuster. We first saw that armour in action in Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015 when Iron Man was forced to battle an out of control Incredible Hulk but someone else will be piloting this version and you can find out that person's identity by clicking here. Now, some new artwork of the fan-favourite suit has surfaced and it's fair to say that it's nothing short of amazing.

As we learned in the first trailer for Infinity War, the Hulkbuster will be used in Wakanda to try and hold off Thanos' army as they attack the African nation on the hunt for the Soul Stone. What do you hope to see from this armour in the movie? As always, feel free to share your thoughts down below.

Instead of being in betty, Bruce can be in veronica now.

Yeah, that suit looks pretty sleek

@MalseMarcel - I wouldn't mind if they brought Connolly back as Betty if Liv Tyler didn't want to reprise the role. It would be another nice reference to the Ang Lee Hulk

@MNLawyer - Why would we want to reference that piece of crap?

"Hunts for the soul stone"? When was that confirmed? I know there's been speculation about this but I don't recall the Sole Stone ever being uncovered in any of the movies. Did I miss something?

@RealSpiderMan - YES.

I was just about to say, they perfected the armor the first time out. And the same with the Hulkbuster. I get Iron Man has gone through so many different armors in the comics, and it’s an excuse to sell more figures, but they nailed it so well right away everything comes across as previously passed on concept designs.

Plus I am a little bias towards it considering it was based on the Extremis armor design, which to me is the best modern comic IM armor. Having Adi Granov design it really shows through too.

@RealSpiderMan - I also just miss how much practical effects were used in that film. It had a very industrial feel that I think hasn’t been replicated since. And for the character, that just makes sense to me.

First Iron Man is still one of my all-time favorite comic films.

@RealSpiderMan - yep yep, Stan Winston's magnum opus before he passed away imo.

@RealSpiderMan - Yeah, the Mark III is classic to me, but I'm partial to the Mark VII from the end of The Avengers. That jetpack attachment is so cool and frees up his arms for combat. Looks great in flight.

So in the face of an alien invasion they bring back an updated version of an armored suit built by a billionaire specifically to fight the strongest being on the planet?

Sounds like a good plan, actually.
