We recently got a first glimpse of Scream actress Giorgia Whigham as Amy Bendix alongside Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) in some images from the set of the upcoming second season of Marvel and Netflix's The Punisher, and now we have what appear to be some publicity shots of the pair.

Bendix's involvement has led to speculation that season 2 will adapt The Slavers storyline from the comics, but that remains to be seen. At any rate, the character has been re-imagined as "a street-smart grifter with a mysterious past" for the show.

Over the past couple of weeks, Zack Snyder has been responding to fans on Vero, revealing some minor, but intriguing tidbits about Batman V Superman and Justice League.

A lot of what he shares is fairly obvious stuff that most people who watched the movies will already be aware of, but, at the very least, it does reignite conversation.

Snyder's latest post is the full version of the very first glimpse fans had of Jason Momoa's Aquaman for BVS.

Is The Venom Movie A Part Of The MCU?

Not according to Joe Russo.

The Avengers: Infinity War co-director was asked about the fearsome antihero's status in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during a recent Q&A, and he gave a very succinct response:

"No, that’s a Sony property."

Though Venom is technically a Spider-Man: Homecoming spinoff, fans probably shouldn't expect the upcoming movie to feature any connections to the wider universe currently inhabited by Tom Holland's Peter Parker. Well, his ashes!

Spidey's Avengers: Infinity War Death

Speaking of which, during the same Q&A Russo was asked about the deaths of several major characters at the end of Infinity War - particularly Spider-Man's, which many seem to feel was the biggest emotional gut-punch of the film.

Russo admits that they wanted that scene to carry as much weight as possible.

“We made those deaths impactful- emotionally, because you have an emotional connection with those characters and it’s difficult taking someone like Peter Parker and putting him in that position. What 16 year old wouldn’t want not to go in such the way it’s shown so we set up that relationship between he and Tony Stark in separate movies to lead to that moment- it’s a father-son relationship. It’s painful to watch.”

The veteran actor will play Creed's kindly neighbor Jud Crandall, who first tells the distraught Doctor about the ancient burial ground.

A new behind-the-scenes photo of Benedict Cumberbatch doing a little research on his Avengers: Infinity War character has found its way online.

Though Doctor Strange probably won't play a large role (if any) in Avengers 4, we know that whatever plan he had to ultimately defeat Thanos involved letting The Mad Titan complete his mission.

I still can't believe they put that Spider-Man death scene in there

Like, they really killed a 16 year old kid in the most ugly-cry-inducing way possible

Saw IW for third time and probably the last in theaters yesterday. Still probably my favorite Avengers movie (not MCU).

Doctor Strange, Tony, and Peter were probably my favorites this time around from the heroes side. Thanks and Maw were great bad guys. The other children of Thanos were forgettable.

A couple of other thoughts:

1.) is that an animatronic of Thanos when everyone is holding him down? That was the most “real” Thanos looked in the movie. His arms looked great too.

2.) Doctor Strange. I liked him better in this movie than I did in his solo movie. The “douchebag” line to Tony fell flat at every screening I’ve seen. But besides that he was great and he was given a lot to do. I also suspect Cumberbatch had to shoot a lot of scenes separate from the others. A lot of shots show him away from others and by himself.
