With the last news involving the Avengers, there was a speculation that there were conflicts in the film's development. Well that may be dismissed with a tweet from Marvel's editor-in-chief, Joe Quesada.

MarvelFreshman: Mainly could this mean that screenplay writer, Zac Penn has finally come up with a basic story idea for the film, with the possible first draft. Also with producer, Kevin Feige recently confirming Hulk in the film, I suspect this is so.

Seems way too soon for a first draft to be written (could be wrong!). Like, wouldn't it be opening a can of worms to have a first draft without seeing how Thor, IM2, and Cap will be played out?

I think it's possible. With Kevin Fiege confirming Hulk in the film, I'm sure they have came up with something. An outline

@MF-Why don't you start a twitter report and just air it once or twice a week compiling the week's/last few day's tweets. Unless its something big of course.

Your compilation articles always have a lot more weight to them than these one liners. It also helps to see them in conjunction with each other or from people working on the same project.

Just my opinion and suggestion

First draft had to come out some time. I'm sure there will be many more versions.

Well, it would be odd to see draft before Thor, IM2, and Cap will be played out, but seeing as how all of those movies already have their scripts done and are in various stages of production I'd guess Marvel already knows how they all play out.

With that said, I'd imagine any draft that joe is seeing is pretty rough.

I would bet money that Marvel had a rough draft before they ever announced the movie would be made.

Doesn't, really, matter. They still haven't gotten CAP together.

Well, I would imagine that if they begin filming this summer then it'd be a pretty safe bet they've got a script for Cap already.

Marvel already knows the direction THOR and CAPTAIN AMERICA are going in... both of those movies (along with IRON MAN 2) end on substantial cliffhangers... which lead directly into THE AVENGERS.

Marvel will need to start production by next winter/spring in order to meet the early May 2012 release date, so it's safe to say that they have an early script... um... assembled... already.

@80sFace That was my article. I don't want to post an article about it, so it can be taken down, so here is the possible spoilers for Thor & captain America films that @80sFace were referring to.

Captain America

. Steve Rogers is a fragile young man who wants to join the army to help fight the Nazis, but is constantly rejected because of his poor health.

. A old scientist sees that in Steve lies the soul of a true hero and brings him to the Supersoldier Program, where he undergoes several physical, mental and psychological tests with astonishing ressults for a man in his condition, impressing the military.

. He's injected with the Supersoldier Serum and gains the strenght, the speed, the agility, the stamina and the resiste of 100 men.

. Instead of sending him to the frontline as he wished, the government decides to showcase him in USO shows in military bases arround Europe, which frustrates him.

. Eventually, he decides to enter the battlefield by himself to rescue a group of imprisioned soldiers, going AWOL.

. In his mission, Captain America comes across Red Skull, the Nazi supersoldier, who bears the horrible scars ressulted of being injected with an older, rudimentary version of the Supersoldier Serum.

. Red Skull has discovered a power source different from anything the world has ever seen and uses it to create an array of long-distance, mass destruction futuristic weapons with wich he plans to attack on global scale. The only one who can stop in is Captain America.

____________________________________________________________________

Thor

. Asgard is located in the far reaches of space.

. The Asgardians are cosmic beings with powers beyond human comprehension.

. Thor is Asgard's greatest warrior and son of Odin, the ruler of Asgard. His legacy is to inherit the throne, but his arrogance and futility lead Odin to fear he lacks the skill to do so.

. Loki, Thor's half-brother, manipulates him so Odin furiously strips him away of his powers and banishes him to Earth.

. Here, he's found by Jane Foster, a beautiful cosmology student who always believe there was something out there, beyond the stars, humanity just couldn't explain.

. Thor and Jane grow closer. He learns humilty and respect with her and she learns to have faith with him. Thor also becomes fond of the group of humans which he interacts with, including Professor Andrew Ford and cosmology student Darcy Williams.

. Back on Asgard, Loki unites with the Frost Giants of Jotunhein and prepares to invade both Asgard and Earth.

. When Thor learns about Loki's plans, he tries to return to Asgard, but Loki sends a creature know as "The Destroyer" to preventing him from suceeding. Besides finding his way back to Asgard, Thor also has to protect his human friends from the monster.

MF: I hope that those spoilers are right - they both sound like excellent ways for The First Avenger: Captain America and Thor to play out!

Destroyer would be awesome...wasnt there also a rumour that Loki and Thor would face off as well though?

I'm not sure how accurate it is, but the guy who posted that said the following before posting it.

a reconized brazillian research site, affiliated with ResearchNow.com, published detailed synopsis of Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger to see how's the public's interest in those movies. It provided basic Plot Outlines from both films, so, I figured I'd share it with you.

DCMarvelFreshman

@Ranger14 lol Have faith bro. Have faith

@MikeSanderson09 Seeing how Thor has been so secretive, I don't have a clue.

But with the Captain America thing. It sounds pretty accurate. I can see them introducing the cosmic cube in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, providing world domination in cap's movie, which is needed for Captain America to be a true hero, because just getting rid of Nazis doesn't really do it for me.

I can see the cube being frozen or something somewhere near where Captain America was found. Providing the reappearance of Red Skull in an Avengers sequel.
