More From Chris Hemsworth And Tom Hiddleston On Their Roles In The Avengers!

Chris Hemsworth reveals when he starts work on The Avengers, while Tom Hiddleston talks about the team who will take on Loki and jokes about a hidden surprise in the end credits...

Unfortunately, there is no embed code for the video interview between EpixHD and the two THOR stars, but here is my transcript of what they had to tell the site about their roles in upcoming superhero epic, The Avengers. To see it for yourself, simply click on the link at the bottom of this page. What's interesting about Hiddleston's comments below is that it very much sounds as if it will simply be him against the team. I mean, he's hardly going to blurt out anything about Skrulls or Kree, but this could be a sign that he'll be the movies main baddie!

Chris Hemsworth:

"Not much, you know? It's the alliance, or attempted alliance, of Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man and there's some big egos in that group. Certainly not an easy road. They have, they started a couple of weeks ago and I get on set in about a week."

Tom Hiddleston:

"I can tell you that it's all of them against me. I am the super-villain. It's Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Nick Fury, forming a team because I have got so bad ass. At the end of Thor, there's a caption at the end of the credits which says, 'Thor Will Return In The Avengers'. And the sub-heading that you can't see is, 'Loki Is Coming Back Too'!"

With an all star cast which includes Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Mark Rufallo as Bruce Banner, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Tom Hiddleston as Loki, The Avengers is set to be released on May 4, 2012!

Im sure Tom is playing with the press.

If he was the only villain, Marvel wouldnt let him say it yet, so Im sure there will be more than The avengers vs Loki.

@ Wild, my brother is the head projectionist at a movie theater, and I guess it's up to the theater on what trailers get released with what movies, but he told me he (he's in charge of picking trailers at his theater) that he is going to put the Cap trailer ahead of Thor!

Hmm, I'm slightly worried. Loki on his own doesn't quite seem "big" enough. I hope the Skrulls are involved too, as Loki's bamboozled "muscle".

They were both awesome in the film. Hiddleston was perfect as Loki, but as I told a friend, I think they pulled the real Thor out of the comics. What an amazing movie!

Will there be a connection between Loki and Ross' problem that Stark talked about in "The Incredible Hulk"?

I got to see it yesterday at an advanced screening. It was pretty awesome. Tip: Stay until the end of the credits because it's worth it.

i mean, im just piecing things together my way. from the bits and pieces of the pre-avenger movies. and it never came to me, until it was stated that ironman 2 was before the incredible hulk, and after thor. so that means stark is on board first seeing how he came to the general at the end. and then during ironman 2, agent c. tells stark that he has to go to new mexico. hence thor. so what im getting at is loki could be the main baddie pulling the strings, with minor help from someone in caps timeline. but what got me was the ending credits of thor when loki was controlling slevig. it hit me. what if he were controlling banner at the end of the hulk and thats why he gave us that evil grin and transformed. i know most of u are going to say he mastered his transformations. and i said that at first as well, but like i said until the ending scene of thor my mind changed. loki is the type that doesn't get his hands dirty, even in the movie, he fought with deception, clones that would make his enemy fall off a cliff. what if he just realized that he could do the mind control thing and the movie, and is gathering the forces he needs to take down asgard. cause imma keep it real with u guys, thor was a good movie, but it really felt rushed, u can't have an origins movie 1hr and 45 mins. and the interaction with thor and agent c. was the fastest way of saying, im going to be in the avengers. the movie was great don't get me wrong. but i loved hawkeyes/barton's part the best out of the movie. but im saying loki possessing the hulk seems strong to me now. cause that was the cosmic cube and not the ice cube, so we know its power, for what we won't know until cap, cause the skull is seen holding it. let me stop now. what do u guys think of the loki/hulk/selvig/ thing. and that was the super villain vault they were in at the end right?
