While Warner Bros. would have us believe that Zack Snyder willingly handed the reigns of Justice League to Joss Whedon, evidence continues to mount that there may be more to the story than meets the eye. Snyder isn't particularly active on Twitter these days but he can be found on Vero and when a fan shared a link to a story indicating that Whedon no longer being part of the DC Films Universe is a good thing, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director responded. Well, with a "like" at least!
The post was also liked by Snyder's close friend and DC Films photographer Clay Enos and speculation has mounted that he was also glad to see the back of Whedon because he shared "Good Riddance" by Green Day quite soon after the news broke that the filmmaker had stepped down from Batgirl.
With speculation mounting that Snyder was forced out of Justice League, you can appreciate why he would be glad to see the same thing happen to Whedon, especially as rumours are swirling that Warner Bros. was unhappy with his work on Justice League and wanted him to leave Batgirl because they knew having a male filmmaker at the helm would be a PR nightmare.
