Hidden Image in the Third "The Dark Knight Rises" Trailer?

A hidden frame in the latest "The Dark Knight Rises" trailer

The third trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises" showed some fresh shots of Bane and Catwoman in action. It also gave an extensive look on Joseph Gordon Levitt's character John Blake but without really revealing anything essential. This gave rise to a new wave of speculation about John Blake replacing Bruce Wayne as Batman when the billionaire is heavily injured in a fight with Bane.

A hidden frame in the trailer which can be seen for less than a second may support those theories. It can be seen by viewing the trailer frame by frame at approximately one minute and twenty-six seconds. The image is a close-up shot of Batman in what appears to be some kind of a tunnel with a ghastly greenish light. It is hard to decide whether the man wearing the mask is Christian Bale or someone else but just the fact that the image is seen in a "hidden frame" is enough to raise some new questions and speculations.

And here is the image itself:

Not sure if it's Bale really- look at the shoulders, they don't look big enough.

And those tunnels do seem a bit scary.

I noticed this shot real quick in the trailer after a few views, it seemed like maybe Bats was hiding in the shadows/tunnel until the gunmen start shooting and the shots light up where hes hiding.

As for it being either Bale or JGL...I'd stick with it being Bale...

The purpose of this " Hidden Frame " has me curious in what sequence, when and where it takes place in the movie. Cant to wait to find out in July :]

@StrangerX

The fuss is about a shot that is hard to see. It's possible that it means more than it looks, otherwise why snip it for less than a second?

Also, am I the only one who sees a drawing of some kind on the right wall? A flower or a dog; I have no idea.

I hope JGL will be Robin, or at least some kind of Robin :D
It would be pretty cool if John Blake replaces Bruce Wayne as Batman.

"fan boys have some how got it in there head that Nolan is the king of secrets. when he has NEVER KEPT ANY we know about the bat we know banes the villain and we know catwoman is in the film. THERE ARE NO SECRETS> get over it".
-TankD

Catwoman and Bane are in the movie?? This is the first time I've heard this!

No shit Sherlock. He keeps any major plot points a secret, not obvious things like villains. We hardly know anything specific going into Dark Knight Rises.

The only legit mysteries surrounding this movie.

The rumor of Scarecrow's appearance.

Does Bane breaking the bat,

Who will die.

Is Ras appearance a flashback or did he not die.

Everything else like...

The Talia al Ghul rumor has been put to rest.

JGL is not Robin.

My hopes for the film was having William Fichtner come back as Black Mask, but that doesn't look like that will happen.

THIS IS NOT A HIDDEN IMAGE, YOU [frick]ING MORONS!!!!! WHEN THAT BAD GUY WITH THE AK47 FIRES INTO ONE OF THE TUNNELS, IT LIGHTS UP THE FACE OF BATMAN, WHO PROCEEDS TO LEAP OUT and GRAB THE BAD GUY. YOU IDIOTS NEED TO RE-WATCH THE TRAILER!!! THE BAD GUY FIRES INTO THE TUNNEL, LIGHTING UP THE FACE OF BATMAN -- BATMAN LEAPS OUT AND [frick]S THE GUY UP!

ALSO, THIS TAKES PLACE UNDERGROUND IN THE SEWERS -- WHICH IS BANE'S HIDEOUT.

I cant say its Bale or JGL...found this screen shot of the DKR which still leaves it up in the air in my opinion.

JGL IS NOT the new Batman. For Christ sake, its Christian Bale! Speculation is always good, but not when it's dumb and outlandish.

This is not a hidden image. Just before they show this image, they show two mercenarys in a tunnel and one of them is shooting at something. The movie flashes this image that we are talking about, and then the man shooting it tackled by Batman. It is just a movie technique, nothing more. It's supposed to be like Batman just appeared out of no where.

Also, this wasn't very hidden. When IGN did a rundown of the trailer, they clearly pointed this image out.

And dammit koolaidbag I should know better than to click an unknown .swf
