They are preparing to film some scenes for the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, in Oakland tomorrow, this parking lot is nearby. The Tumblers (batmobiles) are what are covered by the white covers. It is rumored that the long enclosed trailer either has the Batmobile in it or Bruce Wayne's Lamborghini Aventador!! Found base camp for most of the cars in the new Batman The Dark Knight Rises movie being filmed in Pittsburgh. You an see the tumbler (batmobile) under the tarps, a few of the Gotham cars including the Gotham City News news van. Also, the trailer is thought to hold the new Bruce Wayne's ride, the Lamborghini LP700-4 Aventador. mywebtimes.com - Local rescue squad, county deputies support Volunteers from the Ottawa River Rescue Squad as well as deputies from the La Salle County Sheriff's Office gave land and "sea" support to filmmakers working on a superhero movie throughout North Central Illinois this week.
Rescue Squad Capt. Ray Sibert told The Times Friday he and other members were asked by movie production personnel, now filming the next Superman movie, to provide security on the Fox River while crews filmed an accident scene on the U.S. 52 bridge east of Serena Wednesday and Thursday.
He admitted it was hot work for them during the shooting, but the locals got to see a school bus go over the side of the bridge. "It was interesting and the production people took good care of us." He added the film company has promised a future donation to the squad for its efforts.
