Leaked production photo of Christian Bale reveals potential Dark Knight Rises SPOILER.

Till now theres only been theories as to exactly what Banes role will be in the new Chris Nolan film.

The picture I found earlier:



So I came across this image on tumblr earlier (I know...reliable) and its currently blowing my mind. It appears to be some sort of makeup test for a severely beaten Christian Bale, which leads me to believe this is the future handywork of Bane. Those of you familiar with the comics will recall the Knightfall storyline in which Bane breaks the Batmans back. Till now theres only been theories as to exactly what Banes role will be in the new film.


NOW...having said that, I know Bale's been filming "The 13 Women of Nanjing" recently, so it is possible this is a photo from THAT production, but he plays a priest in that film, and I'm not sure why that character would have his ass handed to him as badly as this photo suggests.

Yeah, filming doesn't start for TDKR for at least a week or so.
But I can see this being true, since Bane will be giving him some sort of beating.
And yeah, that's some good makeup.

If Bruce Wayne was out of commission for a few weeks after a run in with Bane...I think his facial hair might start to grow.

Although the same can be said for his character in The 13 Women of Nanjing. Thats why this is purely speculative.

okay, found an answer for ya...i typed some version of christian bale beat up make up on google images to find this website beat face

the photo is from Rescue Dawn, a war hostage movie Bale did in 2006. oddly and interestingly, the link says, the dude who did Bale's make up in the above picture of beaten Bale from Rescue Dawn, did Heath Ledger's Joker make-up for the Dark Knight...there's a story

Oh you didn't know? This is all from filming for the sequel to Empire Of The Sun. He becomes separated from his parents during the Vietnam War. John Malcovich is set to return.

This is garbage. Does Bale have a weird droopy nose like that? Looks more like someone messing around with PhotoShop. The red drool from his nose and lip look drawn on and the one good eye looked patched onto this face. The hair and beard and not Bruce Wayne.

Dunno if this is legit. Production on the third movie begins in May and the last recent photo of Bale had him appearing like a hippie.
