Don’t actors wait in their trailers when they aren’t required to shoot anyways?
Blergh - 6/30/2020, 2:26 AM
@tmp3 - some actors aren't even on set for 30% of the shooting. People like Alicia Vikander, Wesley Snipes and others have been reported to only shoot close-ups while letting their body-doubles do the wide shots.

Sure that's not something Nolan encourages but it's something that becomes more frequent in the industry. Someday we'll have "stars" only work a day for a lifetime pay.

Well makes sense, and its worked. He has not made a bad movie yet.
dragon316 - 6/30/2020, 2:55 AM
@dracula - not making bad movie don’t mean nothing end game, titanic , both made records they had chairs on sets different people have different methods of working I do agree with Nolan on this one
dracula - 6/30/2020, 2:24 AM

The best superhero trilogy
Also probably in the top 5 trilogies
Blergh - 6/30/2020, 2:27 AM
@dracula - Memento is still his best
dracula - 6/30/2020, 2:28 AM
@Blergh - true, his weakest is probably Insomnia or Prestige
Blergh - 6/30/2020, 2:31 AM
@dracula - personally, I know many will disagree, I wasn't that fond of Inception. Agreed on Insomnia, have almost forgotten that existed.

That being said his "worst" are still great. I'm almost inclined to pick TDKR over TDK sometimes
SnideCut - 6/30/2020, 2:33 AM
@dracula - The Dark Knight Rises is what breaks it for me :/
dracula - 6/30/2020, 2:34 AM
@Blergh - yeah he is like Avatar The Last Airbender. His worst movies are only worst by default. There is no bad Chris Nolan movie. Cant wait for Tenant, no idea what the plot is, but will for sure be interesting.
dracula - 6/30/2020, 2:36 AM
@SnideCut - Yes its the weakest of the trilogy, but after the dark knight, there was no way to live up to the hype.
bkmeijer2 - 6/30/2020, 2:50 AM
Guess he might be onto something indeed with the chairs. Or maybe chairs just don't sit right with him
BigMikeReviews - 6/30/2020, 6:33 AM
@MalseMarcel - I can't let a good pun go unnoticed. Good one sir!
L0RDbuckethead - 6/30/2020, 8:07 AM
@MalseMarcel -

So he’s a high school sports coach then haha. My AAU coach didn’t allow sitting during practices the day before games.
dracula - 6/30/2020, 3:20 AM
@BlackBeltJones - Well did you win more often than you lost
GhostDog - 6/30/2020, 4:20 AM
@dracula - I would say yes. By a slight margin. Won a handful of tourneys in the 2 years I played.

The rule was abandoned occasionally when we did win. You could sit after a win and before the next game sometimes.
dracula - 6/30/2020, 3:11 AM
He is the Alfred Hitchcock, Orson Wells, Stanely Kubrick of our generation
tmp3 - 6/30/2020, 3:14 AM
@dracula - Or he’s the Chris Nolan of our generation? Not every X has to be a Y
dracula - 6/30/2020, 3:17 AM
@tmp3 - What, its a big compliment. Im sure in 15 to 20 years people will say someone else is the Chris Nolan of their generation.
