DC Teases THE BATMAN, BLACK ADAM, THE FLASH, And AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM In New Promo DC Teases THE BATMAN, BLACK ADAM, THE FLASH, And AQUAMAN AND THE LOST KINGDOM In New Promo

DC Comics has released a brief promo looking ahead to what's set to be a very exciting year of movies for them, and with that comes a new look at the lead heroes in the four blockbusters listed above...

As we hopefully near the "endemic" stage of this pandemic, it finally feels like the world is beginning to get back to normal. While it has admittedly been a quiet six weeks or so for movies, that's going to change starting with The Batman, and from there, it's safe to say Warner Bros. has an impressive slate of DC Comics adaptations for us to look forward to.

The Dark Knight's latest adventure opens on March 4, with Black Adam set to follow on July 29, The Flash on November 4, and finally Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom on December 16. Throw in rumours that Batgirl will hit HBO Max in time for the holidays, and 2022 is definitely looking up for DCEU fans (it's been a long time since Wonder Woman 1984 was released).

Batgirl doesn't factor into this newly released promo, but we do get fresh shots of the title characters in each of the upcoming big screen blockbusters.

We're not sure if this is leading to something or simply a way to remind fans where they can find each of these movies on social media. Either way, it's generated a lot of hype over the past couple of hours and we're hoping that, if nothing else, Dwayne Johnson will drop the Black Adam trailer during the Super Bowl (he's hinted that might be the case on Twitter).

Which of these DCEU movies are you most looking forward to?

“It’s been a long time since Wonder Woman 1984 was released…”

Ummm The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker are DCEU and have been released since WW84.

@MUTO123 @Waddles - I yrie signing in, and although the login thing still appeared in the top right corner instead of my avatar, I could still comment.

My avatar was different though when I commented, so I assume some stuff doesn't carry over

@Waddles - yeah thats definitely it.

I'm just gonna stay off that site for the time being though. Not caught up yet with TBOBF, and going there was a mistake.

@Waddles - worst case scenario is actually what I’d consider best case scenario lol and why I’m not signing up. I don’t need to go to 15 different sites

@Waddles - Your CBM login *should* work for all of them, but it sounds like I may need to double-check the code :o|

Right now you *do* need to re-login, but I should have a fix for that soon.

@bkmeijer - Each site needs its own avatar right now. I'm hoping to make that universal with the universal login (i.e. log into one site and be automatically logged into all of them) soon.

@NateBest - would there ever be an option to umbrella all the sites under one super page? Because I love comic book content, and I love gaming content, and I love wrestling content, and I love Sci fi content, and I'd love to get it all from one site. Maybe even have a list on our account page where we can check boxes for which news feeds we want showing up on main. Idk anything about web design, probably not doable.

@NateBest - thats good to hear.

And I also wonder the same thing as Elric. Maybe not the one superpage thing, but a tab in the topbar that could make switcging between the sites easier (I could just scroll down on CBM or bookmark too though)

@ElricReturns - Yes! It's actually in the works :)

@bkmeijer - I have tabs under the hamburger menu on mobile, but have yet to implement it on desktop yet... As soon as I figure out a good way to do it, you'll see it :)

@micvalpro - Yup. It's sad when the 90's Flash TV suit is the superior one...but that suit was amazing.

@micvalpro - Tbh I really like it… from the neck down. The mask totally ruins it for me
valmic

@thebamf - That suit is still the gold standard. It is crazy nothing has come close since.
UniqNo
UniqNo - 2/11/2022, 3:45 AM
@micvalpro - The suit looks OK, it's just that dam 'Big Daddy' looking mask/cowl. We haven't seen it fully unveiled or in motion, but I don't have confidence in it. I really want to know what the inspiration and design ideas behind it were, as it's not making sense to me. Snyders cowl worked better.

Only have any interest in The Batman

DC are putting out a lot of stuff this year.
4 Films (5 if you count Batgirl).
Gonna be interesting to see how they fare.
bkmeijer2
bkmeijer2 - 2/10/2022, 5:47 PM
@ThePott - I still think Batgirl will be early next year, and theatrical
ThePott
ThePott - 2/11/2022, 2:32 AM
@bkmeijer - I could see that, I know the talk was this year. Wouldn't surprise me if it went to HBO Max or at least there was a short theatrical window.

Probably also depends on if Aquaman moves away from Avatar or vice versa.
bkmeijer2
bkmeijer2 - 2/11/2022, 4:47 AM
@ThePott - I looked it up once where the ''Batgirl and Blue Beetle are gonna go directly to HBO Max in 2022'' once, and I couldn't find anything besides just articles reproducing that statement.

Closest to the original source I could find was Hamada saying there were gonna be projects going straight to HBO Max, and the THR article speculated those two movies could be among them.
ThePott
ThePott - 2/11/2022, 11:50 AM
@bkmeijer - Most people said that Blue Beetle was going to HBO Max as speculation and they've since come out and confirmed it will get a theatrical release. I reckon the fact they haven't corrected for Batgirl means it's going to HBO Max.

There's been talk of it going there for nearly a year now.
bkmeijer2
bkmeijer2 - 2/11/2022, 12:15 PM
@ThePott - as they haven't said anything, I'd like to assume it'll get a theatrical release too.

Could even see Aquaman moving, so maybe that's what is is dependent on.
ThePott
ThePott - 2/11/2022, 12:23 PM
@bkmeijer - Yeah that would be my thinking.
While I don't think it's likely to get a theatrical release, I think if they move from Avatar they might do a theatrical release for Batgirl before putting it on HBO Max shortly after.
bkmeijer2
bkmeijer2 - 2/11/2022, 12:29 PM
@ThePott - just like with The Batman, I can see it have that 45 day window yeah
