Yesterday, we heard that Birds of Prey may put the spotlight on Huntress but won't feature Catwoman. That points to the project being far removed from original plans for Gotham City Sirens, a movie which now appears to be dead. However, while we will still see Harley Quinn in this movie, it's being reported today that there have been no signs of Poison Ivy being included here at this stage in development.

On the plus side, Omega Underground claims that Black Canary will be making an appearance despite the fact that rumours pointing to Lea Seydoux playing the character were recently debunked online.

It's not really surprising that Birds of Prey will put the spotlight on female superheroes as opposed to anti-heroes/villains but there are bound to be some fans disappointed by the fact some characters aren't included, especially as there was a fair bit of excitement surrounding Gotham City Sirens once upon a time. How do you feel about the way this movie is shaping up, though? Sound off below.
