The Blu-ray release of Black Panther is rapidly approaching and now another deleted scene from the movie has been released online. Taking place shortly after he ingested the heart-shaped herb after doing battle with M'Baku, T'Challa talks with Zuri about taking over his father's legacy as the fan-favourite looks back on what it was like when T'Chaka protected Wakanda as its heroic Black Panther.

"My whole life I would watch him, wearing the suit," T'Challa says in the clip below. "He could pick up a grown man with one hand...run as fast as a zebra." We also learn how exactly him donning the costume came to pass while his father was still alive. "When he told me he was too old to wear the mantle of Panther, he would pass it to me and just be king." Zuri's answer, though, is priceless!

We'll let you check that out for yourselves below but, in the meantime, be sure to let us know your thoughts on this new deleted scene from Black Panther in the comments section down below.

This and especially the W'Kabi/Okoye scene should have been in the movie. Damn...

Goddamn I wish this was in the movie. Not long at all, manages to say a lot and clears up some stuff. This pretty much confirms my theory that T'Chaka went to the UN and had the Wakandans in Lagos as a form of guilt of what he did to N'Jobu and N'Jadaka.

Some criticized this about the movie as if it wasn't obvious. Black Panther's age and get old. So they just pass on the mantle unoficially to their children. Glad to see it's made even clearer now.

So far, all the deleted scenes I feel should've been in the film. I don't think it would've killed the pacing at all.

I really think BP could've been about 15-20 min longer. Same with Infinity War.

These deleted scenes make it feel like a stronger film over all. Even though I loved it, it could’ve benefited from these moments but I’m sure they cut them in order to keep the film “exciting” enough by Marvel standards, but damn... I hope that we get a director’s cut or something along the way. If not we’ll just have to add the scenes themselves.
