At the end of
Black Panther the audience saw T'Challa and his nation opening up their resources to the rest of the world, and apparently a USDA staff member took that to the next level by bringing it to life.
The US Department of Agriculture has listed the Kingdom of Wakanda as a free-trade partner even though it doesn't really exist, and it was discovered yesterday by eagle-eyed twitter user Francis Tseng.
Mike Illenberg, a USDA Spokesperson had the following to say to the Washington Press when approached.
"[The staff were] using test files to ensure that the system is running properly. The Wakanda information should have been removed after testing and has now been taken down."
