Forget The Joker; Chadwick Boseman Went Method For Black Panther In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

We've spend the last year hearing stories about Jared Leto going method for The Joker in Suicide Squad. Well, so too did Chadwick Boseman for Black Panther, but what exactly did that involve?

Chadwick Boseman didn't send the actors who make up #TeamCap and #TeamIronMan any anal beads or hog carcasses, but Captain America: Civil War co-director Joe Russo has revealed in an interview with Empire Online that the actor went full on method for the movie. So, what exactly did that involve? Well, it doesn't sound too extreme, but his commitment bodes well for the character's MCU future!

"For the entire run of the production, he spoke in that accent, whether he was on camera or not," the filmmaker reveals. "He’s that kind of actor, he has a very specific process. It’s very intense performance." I think we can all agree with that, and with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige adding that Boseman was "the only choice we ever had," they're clearly confident in his abilities.

We have to wait until 2018 to see more of Black Panther of course, but with Boseman set to team-up with Creed helmer Ryan Coogler, you can bet your lives that we're all going to be in for a treat...

That's my kind of method acting.
