The latest issue of Empire features a lot of new stills from Captain America: Civil War, but Spider-Man sadly isn't among them. He is however mentioned and we now have a better idea of how he'll factor into the movie (via What Culture). Apparently, the wall-crawler won't be making an appearance until after the heroes have chosen their respetctive sides, and it's then that Peter Parker "forms a relationship with one character." Who? They don't say, but I would place my money on Iron Man!

As for Bucky, some more details about how he factors into the movie have also been revealed. As expected, the sidekick turned HYDRA assassin is going to cause the rift between Steve and Tony to become even greater, but why? Love. "He and Steve have the emotional connection of brothers – even more so because Bucky was all Steve had growing up," Joe Russo explains. "Bucky was his protector, and that dynamic shifted when Steve Became Captain America, and now it has shifted again. The Cap-Bucky story is a love story; he can’t let go of his brother. He can reconcile Bucky’s crimes, but other people have no emotional context for Bucky, and they need to point the finger. We have no idea if he’s a hero or a villain. People are going to walk out arguing about that too."

Starring Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Rudd, Chadwick Boseman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Brühl, Frank Grillo, William Hurt, and Martin Freeman, Captain America: Civil War is set to be released on May 6th, 2016. Are you #TeamCaptainAmerica or #TeamIronMan?

I have a huge feeling he's just gonna show up for 6 mins and is not even gonna fight. Can you imagine the backlash? I think people are expecting too much Spidey.

Don't care which character he forms a relationship as long as it's one of our characters! Can't believe Sony's reign of terror is finally over!

Marvel Studios gets another win!

@DrLight -

Jesus. There's truly a fine line between being passionate and being a total psychopath. There's only one other user like you I've seen on this site.
