No, it's not Spider-Man! Part of the extended trailer for Marvel's Captain America: Civil War that was screened at the D23 expo has found its way online, and provides our first look at Falcon (Anthony Mackie) sending the MCU incarnation of his trusty avian sidekick, Redwing, into action.

It's difficult to hear anything as the crowd are whooping it up like idiots, but you can also catch glimpses of Cap (Chris Evans), Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Crossbones (Frank Grillo) existing a vehicle right at the end.


“Captain America: Civil War” picks up where “Avengers: Age of Ultron” left off, as Steve Rogers leads the new team of Avengers in their continued efforts to safeguard humanity. After another international incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability and a governing body to determine when to enlist the services of the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers while they try to protect the world from a new and nefarious villain.

I love the carbon feel this movie gives me, very streety vibe, just like Winter Soldier. Damn, I remember when that movie got released and toppled everyones expectations, good times...

Cool! Even if Crossbones is really an opening credits "muscle" villain, I think they'll give him a lot of presence here, he was just about to do something with his gauntlets, would've been cool to see. But all the gadget stuff is super cool, I remember watching Winter Soldier, and the subtle gadgets like the facenet, changeling mask, the sort of laser they carry around, Fury's minigun compartment in his car, and the magnetic handcuffs used to subdue Cap in the elevator scene, it makes me think the Russo's will add very cool subtle details to character like Panther, War machine, Iron man, and Vision. I mean, Red Wing is unbelievably cool, even the way he emerges. I miss Joss, but I'm really glad they're taking over Avengers, can't wait to see what they do with Thanos.

Can the OP clarify if this was filmed at the D23 expo? This matches the footage descriptions, but the Spanish subtitles lead me to believe this was leaked from somewhere else. It was probably the same trailer though.

Did anyone else watch Captain America 75 years last night? It reveals Steve will become cap again(this summer), but with a different costume and a new shield while Falcon keeps the classic shield and also remains Captain America with his new outfit...WTF?!
