Emily VanCamp says "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is just planting the seeds for her character, Agent 13 and that she's actually meeting some of her co-stars for the first time while looking at Anthony Mackie. Might she appear in "Avengers: Age of Ultron?"

great find. I'm like on third issue of Brubaker work right now, not bad at all. It's a good read. Not particularly in my style, but still good. Anyway, i dig their 70's political thriller approach for this movie. If they would stick to the source material too much it could end up ugly. It's a rather slow read.

i love Operation Rebirth. One of my favorites :)

I dig it more than Brubaker stuff.

I would love to see Marvel adapting Operation into a movie.

I would only change one thing in the movie adaptation.
I would love to add one scene where Red Skull shapes his own version of reality. With nazis ruling the world. And Captain seeing it all and can't do a damn thing ... But that's just my imagination.

My guess is that Agent 13's real name is Carol Danvers and that they're setting up Captain Marvel for Avengers 2. I am also predicting that Coulson ends up being The Vision.

Agent 13, AKA Sharon Carter, is Peggy Carter's niece.

It really sucks that Sharon is going to be such a minor role.

I know she said this is just the beginning, but how much is there to be a middle and an end?

Aside from this, they'll make maybe one more Cap movie and then Chris Evans' contract will expire.

@ralfinader: Obviously they can't make her Peggy's niece in this version, too much time has passed. She could be a great neice I guess. Ultimately they are reworking all of these characters to fit this time period. They have retconned the character in the comics as well.

She will likely be related in some way to Peggy as Sharon Carter, she may or may not have a romantic relationship with Captain America. I think alot of that will depend on how people view CA and BW's relationship in the movie. But it really sounds like they are saving the relationship with Sharon till Cap 3, if there is one. I'm not a big fan of it for the movie. It makes Cap seem creepy to be hitting it off with his long lost love's blood relative. It starts reaching SW/QS incest levels for me.

I think Retrofit was pointing out that they could change the character's origin and give us a twist of Captain Marvel. I think he knows who Agent 13 is. That would be a big twist. It would piss off purist and alot of people would love it just to see Captain Marvel. You really can't make cbm fanboys happy.

Brubaker's run is the best run Cap has ever had. It's up there with Steve Englehart's classic run in the 70's.
