We've all enjoyed getting glimpses of the filming of Captain America whether it was in Manchester, Caerwent, Aldershot or any of the other numerous locations throughout the UK. Well, it looks like those pictures of Chris Evans in full costume that we were all hoping for wont be shot by a sneaky scooper any time soon because filming is nearly at an end according to the actor that plays Doctor Abraham Erskine!

"Yeah, I’m done. They shoot for like another three weeks. I had the best time...the best time!"

When asked about getting the role, he once again couldnt help but point out the funny side of what Marvel called his character in those early stages of production:

I was cast as the 'elderly German scientist'. Then I took the role and they changed it to say 'very tired looking man'!"

Captain America: The First Avenger is set to be released on July 22, 2011!
