UPDATE: Jeremy Renner Teases Plans For 'Hawkeye' Appearance In CAPTAIN AMERICA 3

It looks like Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye is finally going to get some attention in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! A larger role in Avengers: Age of Ultron has been teased, and now the actor reveals that he's heard about a possible role in Captain America 3. Check it out!

Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow took on a starring role in Captain America: The Winter Soldier alongside Chris Evans, but now it looks like Hawkeye might get the spotlight in the next solo outing for the star spangled Avenger. In a recent interview with Collider, American Hustle star Jeremy Renner told the site that he may (or may not depending on how things work out) have a role in Captain America 3 following a much larger part in Avengers: Age of Ultron last year. "There are rumblings of Captain America 3," Renner revealed. "I don’t know what’s going to happen there. I’ve got to find the time, man (laughs). I’m trying to stay home and I can’t." It would certainly be interesting to see Hawkeye helping Steve Rogers and The Falcon hunt down Bucky, especially as the relationship between Clint and Cap in the comics has always been a lot of fun. That wasn't something we got to see an awful lot of in The Avengers because Hawkeye spent most of his screentime being controlled by Loki, something the Mission: Impossible 5 actor has made clear he didn't enjoy doing a number of times now.  It would also result in a very different dynamic in the threequel. Would you guys enjoy seeing Hawkeye in Captain America 3?

UPDATE: Superhero Hype spoke to directors Anthony and Joe Russo earlier today, and quizzed them about Renner's comments. They refused to confirm or deny this, saying only that it would give too much away about the threequel, but Joe did tease: "There are certainly characters that Cap is close to or has a strong relationship with that would make sense appearing in his films. I think that’s all we can say about it." So, for now, it looks like we're going to have to wait and see!

I'd love to see Renner back for Cap 3, you know, if he doesn't die in Age Of Ultron. Cap 3 should really focus on rebuilding SHIELD, and a great way to start that is by building a mini-Avengers of Cap, Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, and the Twins.

Speaking of staying home, I did all weekend on account of it being 108 with 100% humidity.

I drank beer and watched the Simpsons.

I also made a test run of a mango/raisin/chorizo chili and I loved it.

Basically what I did was this:
1 - Browned some chorizo and chunks of pork shoulder with a diced spanish onion
2 - Put that shit in my slow cooker/crock pot
3 - Added 2 sliced bananas, 3 diced mangoes, a cup of raisins, 4 cups of black beans and 1 cup of kidney beans, 2 diced habanero, 2 cans of whole Spanish tomatoes
4 - Poured in some rum, 1/2 a cup of orange juice
5 - 2 tablespoons of my favorite chili powder, 2 tablespoons of cumin, 3 tablespoons of ancho chili powder
6 - Let that shit cook for about 4 hours

If anyone has any ideas to help that out let me know. Jesse is usually good with this stuff.

Id love to see Cap and Hawkeye team up on a solo movie. Clint deserves to shine on a different type of movie, outside of the team ones.

Well if we're exchanging recipes...

Makin' Meatballs over here:
1 - Seasoned up some chuck with garlic salt, seasoning salt, onion powder, cumin and brown sugar.
2 - Added about half a cup of water to a large saucepan. Turned it to medium.
3 - Rolled the chuck up into spheres the size of golfballs.
4 - Slid the babies in and cooked them for about 30 minutes.
5 - Drained off the water and grease.
6 - Added some tikka masala sauce to the pan.

Then, I heated up some green beans and BAM! It was done.
