Thor. Hulk. Thing.

The fight to end all fights. And while it rages, the Serpent's forces deal Captain America a blow not even he can withstand.

I would like to see Thor use his full powers and not hold back but he would have to teleport them all to an uninhabited planet first .

If thor used ALL of his powers and doesn't just try to out muscle them then he can win, although the earth might not survive thor would be victorious

@thunderforce: i second that one. In all the years, Thor has never truly fought at his max. Alot of people underestimate Thor, hopefully this will shine a big light on the Odinson.

@Intruder: When he's trying to calm the Hulk down? Yeah he does. But if Thor went all out, Hulk would lose 8/10. I do recalling Thor snapping the Hulk's neck once when they fought and made him turn back to Banner

@ ComicFan69: Thor was able to Godblast the Void and was the one that ended Sentry, what are you talking about? Not to mention Void is a Molecule Manipulator, his power level is ridiculous.

Only reason Thor ever has trouble with Hulk is because he holds back as many have said. His natural strength is already in his ballpark range and when he goes into Warriors Madness he is 10 times stronger. Plus Mjolnir is one of the most powerful energy manipulators in the Marvel Universe. Thor can handle this version of Hulk though it can go either way, it's the double team that can be a problem.

People are sleeping on Matt Fraction. The work he's done with Ironman and the work he's doing on Thor right now are some of the best comics out. I'm confident the end result of Fear Itself will be epic.

Although they did recieve substantial upgrades with those hammers they are not Mjolnir. This is the part where we see Thor unleash his full might. It will go down to the bitter end but I'm confident Thor will pull it out.

Thor at full fury is an incredibly powerful character. Ability to destroy a planet, storms full fury. Matching him up against Thing and Hulk would make it a very interesting fight. They all have hammers, but THOR has MJOLNIR. I give it to Thor. If also calls upon his Elder god powers, look out Thing and Hulk. Looking forward to reading this.

i can't believe so many people think Thor would even stand a chance. thats just crazy. Look, i know Thor is the man, but come on. he's basically fighting evil versions of Hulk and Thing, who also happen to have the same exact powers as Thor on top of their regular powers.

Its ridiculous to think Thor would have a chance in Hel.

@ Neobaggins

lol, the first one is Fear Itself #1. lol

Thor HAS gone "all out" in battle with the Hulk and it was a stand-still. They are evenly matched, as has been the decree of Stan Lee from the beginning. They always end in a stalemate. When they went "all-out" in Hel they nearly destroyed the place until Hela kicked them out. Now give Hulk a hammer with godlike powers on top of that and it's no contest. Thor is meat.

Also, For the record: Thor broke the Hulks neck in a crappily written "What If?" story where Spider-Mans symbiote costume took control of the Hulk. That $hit would never happen in the 616. They did all kinds of rediculous crap in those "What-If?" stories, usually written and drawn by hacks.

It's beside the point in this case though as I don't see that match-up in these panels. All I see is Thor vs. Thing. In fact, Hulk isn't pictured fighting anybody. Good thing too because the Hulk under normal circumstances regularly beats the crap out of the entire Avengers or FF as a group and pretty much everyone else in the Marvel universe solo. Give him godlike powers, even if they only increase his power level by 50%, and no one on earth could take him down.

Better give Thanos a call.

"Although they did recieve substantial upgrades with those hammer they are not Mjolnir."

Right.

@nik: Stan's word isn't bond anymore. Bucky is alive, and other writers put words in the Surfer's mouth.

I would also suggest that the power-ups that Hulk and Thing received may detract rather than add to their intelligence, since they seem to be rage-filled maniacs. Hulk, when steered by Banner, is no meat head.

"Thor at full fury is an incredibly powerful character. Ability to destroy a planet, storms full fury. Matching him up against Thing and Hulk would make it a very interesting fight. They all have hammers, but THOR has MJOLNIR. I give it to Thor. If also calls upon his Elder god powers, look out Thing and Hulk. Looking forward to reading this."

Right again.

The Thor that came back from the dead most recently is a wiser Thor than we've ever seen. Thor will own this fight. I'm also betting on some last minute assistance by Iron Man, but Thor will handle the majority of this sitch on his own. Fraction knows that Thor is due in Hulk / Thor.

Well, let me rephrase that second bit nik: Bucky came back to life, and then was killed again. Guy can't get a break these days.

Thor is not just Asgardian. His mother is an elder god. I think Thor got power that he doesn't use often.
manro
manro - 7/7/2011, 8:21 AM
For those who say Thor got this are stroking the Mjolnir to long. Thor in Fear itself is not Odin powered or Rune powered or Double belt strength or suffering from W.madness. So he's not as powerful as fans say he is. Hulk by himself has floor Thor to the point where's he bleeding so imagine Thing and Hulk with Godly powers. Thor should lose and if he does'nt then it's PIS. Niknik comments are correct.

True, he is non of the mentioned in Fear Itself, however! if Thor is near to death, you can bet daddy Odin will wipe The Hulk and Thing off the face of the earth.

(Although they do have some family trouble as it seems .. well we will see I guess :) ) - Perhaps the warriors three shows up, Beta Ray Bill .. who knows ..

Just read issue 4 today and the last page DOES have Thor being tossed into a dimensional rift by the Serpent and dropped right smack in front of BOTH the juiced up Hulk AND Thing.

You guys are either crazy or don't know jack if you think Thor can take on both of these two.......juiced up or not. He has NEVER beaten the Hulk solo in the 616. What makes you think he's now going to own the both of them with their powers increased??? No way. He's gonna need help. He will need the help of at least 4 of the most powerful Avengers (like Iron Man, Wonder Man, Etc.) for this......or maybe one Silver Surfer.

Manro got it right. Someone's been stroking the Mjolnir too long.

Also though it has not been stated or even displayed, even IF the hammer detracted from Hulks intelligence and made him a "rage filled maniac", that would be a very bad thing for goldilocks. This IS the Hulk. The madder he gets..........

@CorndogBurglar, Oh, I'm sorry. I should have been more specific. Never mind. I was trying to trace it back to when THOR started looking like this from the Ultimate version. The chainmail on the arms and legs. I thought there was a series before that leads into this new one with the same artist.

@ simonsonrules

lets not forget that Thor, since returning from death, who is supposedly wiser than ever before, got his ass handed to him by the Dark Avengers during Siege. He almost died, but got saved at the last minute.

the dark avengers. none of those guys were even that powerful.

people on this site are just trying to make Thor out to be the next Batman. Thor can never lose. and thats ridiculous. He has the potential to be incredibly powerful, yet he repeatedly gets his ass handed to him in the comics. just read the comics, and you'll see it.

he's usually the first character to get taken out of the game.
