COMICS: Spider-Gwen Series Officially Announced; Jason Latour & Robbi Rodriguez To Return

Though it was apparently confirmed at NYCC few days ago, it's been officially confirmed that Gwen Stacy will star in her own solo series as Spider-Woman, with the acclaimed creative team of Edge of Spider-Verse returning. Check out the first details and cover art after the jump!

After being teased at a Retailer Meeting at NYCC several days ago, Marvel officially unveiled the first details and cover art for an ongoing series starring Gwen Stacy as Spider-Woman. Writer Jason Latour, artist Robbi Robbi Rodriquez and colourist Rico Renzi will all return after their acclaimed take on the character in Edge of Spider-Verse #2, where she exists as the Web-Head of an alternate universe. The title will begin in February. Are you looking forward to seeing more of Spider-Gwen?

This is one of the reasons I could never get into Marvel comics. It's just way too many characters with storylines that are convoluted and weird, if it wasn't for the movies I'd have no clue who are the main marvel superheroes besides Wolverine and Spiderman...
