Since launch, the "Marvel Heroes" roster has expanded to 34 playable heroes with fan favorites such as Psylocke, Human Torch, Gambit, Loki, Doctor Strange, Nightcrawler and Ghost Rider joining the fight. Player feedback became reality and manifested itself in the form of new game modes and features, including: the alternate advancement Omega System, Raids, PvP, a revised store, improved starting lineup, Eternity Splinter in-game currency, X-Defense, Holo-Sim, and Team-Ups, where players can recruit favored heroes to fight alongside them.

Marvel really need to improve their video games. I want a game with assassins creed mechanics(a clone like shadow of mordor) But with unique individual gameplay features for every unique character but with the same overall move layout.

THAT would be the perfect marvel game with next gen graphics and make it a game that is like an event in comics where all the heroes are at your disposal and you battle all kinds of villains and heroes.

and make the DLCS other events like infinity or civil war. It would be perfect but marvel isnt that creative.

Did you know about eternity splinters? They drop in game and can be used to purchase heroes rather than cash although it takes a while to build up enough to buy them Some are 200 ES, 400 ES, and 600 ES or you can spend 175 ES for a random hero box.

Anyway, fun game every hero so far has been awesome except for Thing.

Also after fans of the game complained that Alexander was the default character, the company who made the game switched it to Rider instead.

@MercwithamOuth. Have they improved the controls? I played HEROES for a couple hours and couldn't stand playing with the mouse. I wanna try this new version. I waited anxiously for the other version to release, and I was so disappointed when I played it. Is 2015 better?

If you're wondering if they have controller support then no, you're pretty much stuck with the mouse and keyboard. However, Gazillion has said they might explore controller use in the future.

I started playing it after it had been out for a year and a half.

The game has had a ton of improvements since I've been playing. (Character reviews aka Skill tree tweaking, new quests, 2 One-Shot story missions, weekly events, team-up characters aka hired mercs like in Diablo 2, pets now absorb loot you don't need and they'll add random attributes to your character, and a lot of other stuff. They're releasing Juggernaut soon as well.

Gazillion is one of those rare game companies that actually listen to feedback and do there best to make the game enjoyable. They pretty much do this on a weekly basis.

Also forgot to mention that there is a raid boss as well designed for the best heavily equipped characters as well. Surtur is the raid boss. Kill him and you get a ton of good loot and items that will help you upscale your gear. It's hard getting to him though since you need a large part of other heavily equipped players to join you.

@MercwithamOuth. I may have to try again. It just was so aggravating when I wasted my energy using a move that completely missed the boss because it was so hard for me to aim. The starter characters were a bit of a letdown too. I think a random character wheel would of been better than the few everyone got to choose from. Glad they updated that. Thanks for the info.
