SUPERHERO FEATS: Namor The Sub-Mariner
In this article of Superhero Feats, I've decided to showcase the note-worthy feats of the original comic book King of Atlantis.....the Sub-Mariner himself....Namor.
2. Breaks out of the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak.
3. Dodges an attack that him at mach speeds.
4. Resists the Human Torch's heat while carrying him to safety to save his life.
5. Defeats Captain America and knocks out Giant Man with Cap's shield.
6. Dodges multiple lasers and rips the barrel off of a muzzle train.
7. After taking only a few drops of water, breaks out of dozens of tons of ice.
8. Defeats Sunfire.
9. Defeats the Hulk.
10. Absorbs millions of volts of electricity and discharges it against the Hulk.
11. Absorbs and redirects energy projected at him by Presence.
12. While being held down by Magneto's power, Namor slams his fists to the ground and makes an impact that causes the entire island to quiver.
13. During an underwater collision, Namor hits Hulk so hard that he flies miles back to the shore and reverts back to Banner. The impact also creates massive tsunamis and earthquakes.
14. Using his electricity powers without having absorbed any previously.
15. Namor takes a equilavent of miniature nuke straight into face (He was holding it) and is only minorly stunned. The impact hurled him into sea.
16. Namor drills through tons of hard sea rock by spinning his body at tremendous speeds.
17. Lifts fully loaded tanker (about 110,000 tons without any load, nearly 200,000 with load).
18. Lifts an WWII destroyer that weighs somewhere between 2000-3000 tons and slams it into Attuma with ease.
19. Carries a 50 ton anchor with one hand and throws it (with some help from Triton) through Leviathan's body.
20. Swims at speeds "Beyond belief", and makes a whirpool that takes the metallic cylinders out from sea.
21. Can sense being sneaked upon by sensing the changes in the ocean currents.
22. First meets The Hellfire Club. Emma cant help but notice how strapping
Namor is. Namor doesnt give Shaw the time of day. Emma on the other hand.
she rips on him and asks if he always smells like that. He asks her if she does. smooth. Emma throws herself into the sea and telepathically contacts Namor to get him to come to her. Namor is there in a flash to rescue her and gets his rewards. Shaw sends a Sentinel to kill Namor, luckily after he's had his fun with Emma. Namor dodges its lasers flys through its head taking it out...then saves his women once again. Namor finds out it was Shaw, and flys himself and Emma to Shaws location in an old prison for payback. Namor bursts through a brick prison wall filled with rage and calls out Shaw. Namor takes Shaws best and puts him down. Most would not have such a time considering Shaws skills and power to absorb and redirect kinectic energy.
23. Withstands a normal and then a very powerful optic blast from Cyclops.
24. Herc shows Namor up on land, overpowering him and tossing him to the ground(Namor's obviously losing strength though from being on land, as he mentions so). So Namor decides to use the cosmic cube to evelope them both in water.......Namor quickly proceeds to manhandle herc, grabbing either an arm or his head(can't tell) and a leg and bending him. Herc apparently even starts to lose stamina fighting against namor's hold(check text). Anyway, Namor decides it's not fair to use the cube and returns them to dry land.When properly hydrated, Namor and Herc stalemate on land(wasp even says "neither can defeat the other)
25. Namor manhandles Herc underwater(puts him in a headlock with one arm then locks in). He says, "On land, you and I are evenly matched, Son of Zues, But you are in my element now". Herc(who is unable to break namor's hold) responds "If thou art truly the strongest in the sea, then I shall bring the ground up to meet thee(attempting to undo namor's hold by shattering the earth below, causing him to lose his footing)
26. Claims at being stronger than Hercules under water.
27. Takes down Shuri (T'Challa's sister) while wearing her high-tech Black Panther armor.
28. Lifts and flys Marrina (a genetically-engineered monster composed of human, alien, and shark DNA) into the air at top speed, drops it down into the Marrina Trench a little while later, taking her deep down and putting her out of
her misery, then lets Norman Osborn know what happens the next time he
tries to screw with him, and drops off whats left of Marrina.
29. Holds his own against the Sentry attacks, and appears to be unscaffed when Sentry takes off.
30. Resurrected by Poseidon, and then one-shots a creature whom the Hulk was struggling with.
31. Again resurrected and given sacred armor by Poseidon after being killed by Suma-Ket.
32. Takes down Rhino.
33. Takes a shot to the head by Mjolnir, but still remains conscious.
34. Captures the ship of Krang and stops it in it's tracks.
35. Catches two rockets in mid-air.
36. Dodges an torpedo with ease, and destroys the ship the torpedo was launched from.
37. Holds his own against Thor.
38. Holds his own against War Machine.
39. Lifts an 50 ton tank with one hand and throws it hard enough to hit a flying Boeing 747 that Iron Man is on. WHILE ON LAND.
40. Throws an seashell so hard, that it becomes as destructive as artillery shell. Under the sea.
41. Laying a beatdown on the Super-Skrull.
42. Shows how he played a apart in the revival of Captain America.
43. Pushes a ship, weighing hundreds of tons, back onto the shore.
44. Beats down Attuma.
45. Survives being thrown from outer space.
46. Making a human punching bag out of Mr. Fantastic.
47. Takes apart a tank, throws another one into the water, then destroys a gunship.
48. Smashed a Titanium-coated earth drill with ease.
49. Swims so fast, he creates a whirlpool that engulfs Behemoth into the Quagmire of Doom, a ancient underwater pit of quicksand.
50. Namor holding his own against Hercules again.
51. Being the thrower performing the "Fastball Special" with Hercules.
52. Gains the upperhand against Ares, the God of War.
53. Chases and captures an Atlantean ship that is flying at high speeds.
54. Rips off the cannons from half a dozen of tanks within seconds.
55. Knocks out Thing in two punches.
56. Fast enough to tag Speed Demon.
57. Catches a ship that Attuma throws at him.
58. Throwing a weapon with the speed of thought, showing great accuracy.
59. Even Nick Fury says that S.H.I.E.L.D. might not have the necessary firepower to stand up against Namor and the Atlanteans, who was waging a war against mankind.
60. With Captain America, takes out 42 men in a few seconds.
61. Casually pushes away an rock that three Atlantean warriors (each about Class 6-10) could not move
62. Shoves a battleship to safety without trouble. That kind of ships weigh somewhere between 10,000 tons to 50,000 tons
63. Topples a similar battleship with one punch.
64. Could withstand gunfire.
65. Takes out 2 Sentinels.
66. Gets the drop on Wolverine.
67. Sends Iron Man flying.
68. Calls out the Illuminati on their own hipocracy.
69. Verbal Ownage.
70. Becomes the owner of the Time Gem from the Infinity Gauntlet.
71. Defeats Venom (MacGargan) and ends it with him ripping Venom's tongue out.
72. Sacrifices his traitorous son Kamar and Atlantis in an explosion cause by Nitro in order for the Atlanteans to escape and find secret refuge on the surface.
