Conspiracy-driven stories have a home in all mediums and continue to become more prevalent over time. Live-action projects like Project Blue Book echo The X-Files, while even Marvel gets in on the action with the recent Loki offering on Disney+.
Animation is no stranger to the genre, with shows like Futurama and American Dad toying with the idea. Still, a brand new series called Inside Job elevates that concept by centering the entire animated series around conspiracies and the people responsible for covering them up.
Comic book properties have their own conspiracy-laden titles, and Titan's upcoming offering of Cutting Edge fully embraces the genre. Focusing on extraordinary scientists, artists, and entrepreneurs, a cast of characters is pulled together to unveil the mysteries of a world-threatening conspiracy.
We had the chance to chat with the creator and writer of Cutting Edge, Francesco Dimitri, and we asked a bevy of questions. He explained in detail his vision for this graphic novel and how it came to be, and the evolution from its initial French publication.
