When most people hear the name Jamie Lee Curtis, they find it almost synonymous with horror flicks. Although she is a prominent actress in plenty of films, many people associate her with the Halloween franchise due to her prominence in the films.
The actress's newest film she is making is called Mother Nature, which definitely has some horror elements but is through and through a comic book story and that is why she chose to unveil the title in graphic novel form too. Frequent readers may find it odd that she is making comics herself, but it is the perfect medium to introduce the story she is hoping to make a franchise.
Those looking forward to the project are lucky enough that beginning today the title is officially available through Titan Comics. We've included some stills to give a good impression of what to expect.
What are your thoughts on this proposed story and art style? Are you excited to read something from such a famous thespian? Regardless of your thoughts, be sure to share your take in the comments as always, and don't forget to check out the trailer below!
After witnessing her engineer father die in mysterious circumstances on one of the Cobalt Corporation's experimental oil extraction projects, Nova Terrell has grown up to hate the seemingly benevolent company that the town of Catch Creek, New Mexico, relies on for its livelihood and, thanks to the "Mother Nature" project, its clean water.
Haunted by her father's death, the rebellious Nova wages a campaign of sabotage and vandalism on the oil giant's facilities and equipment, until one night she accidentally makes a terrifying discovery about the true nature of the "Mother Nature" project and the malevolent, long-dormant horror it has awakened, and that threatens to destroy them all.
Mother Nature is available starting today.
