Deadpool looks set to dominate this year's Valentine's Day, with the Ryan Reynolds led movie currently tracking to open with an impressive $55 million. Despite competition from Zoolander 2 and How to Be Single, the R-Rated comic book adaptation should easily take the #1 spot, a great start for a movie which Fox considered too risky to make for several years. Prerelease tracking indicates that Deadpool is generating major interest with both men and women, and with some analysts predicting as much as $60 million, that figure could actually rise as the studio ups the marketing campain in the next few weeks. Kingsman: The Secret Service earned $41.8 million during the same weekend in 2015, but faced stiffer competition from Fifty Shades of Grey. Neither Zoolander 2 nor How to Be Single are expected to go too far beyond $20 million, so the Merc with the Mouth has a clear path ahead of him to become the box office champ! Will you be there on opening day? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on this in the usual place.
