Deadpool 2 was originally going to be released in June but Fox decided to move it back to May and we're now going to be able to check out the sequel in the same month Avengers: Infinity War and Solo: A Star Wars Story hit theaters. The marketing campaign is already starting to kick into high gear and now Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld has shared a new look at Josh Brolin on the sequel's set as Cable.

The social media post doesn't reveal anything we haven't already seen but the actor looks awesome here as the character and it's going to be interesting seeing what sort of future Brolin has as Cable.

After all, if Marvel Studios successfully purchases Fox, there's nothing to say that the Deadpool and X-Force franchises will live on in their current forms, especially as Brolin plays Thanos in the MCU. Which character would you rather he stay on as? Be sure to let us know your thoughts on that down below.
