Yesterday was April Fool's Day (you may have noticed), but it also marked the 30th anniversary of the Merc With a Mouth's comic book debut.

To celebrate "April Pool's Day," Oscar-winning makeup artist/designer Bill Corso, who worked on Deadpool 1 and 2, took to Twitter to share a behind-the-scenes photo of himself alongside a naked Ryan Reynolds.

Before anyone gets too excited, the actor's... umm, Mini Merc is covered, and even if it wasn't, he's wearing the "haunting" prosthetic suit he dons after Wade undergoes his excruciating mutation at the hands of Ed Skrein's Francis in the first movie.

Corso has also worked as a makeup artist and makeup supervisor on the likes of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, The Amazing Spider-Man, Kick-Ass 2, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Terminator: Dark Fate, Zombieland: Double Tap, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

We got confirmation late last year that a third Deadpool movie is in development at Marvel Studios, so Corso might well get the chance to rejoin Reynolds on the project. We still don't have many details, but the movie is expected to be the first R-rated entry in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
