DEADPOOL 2: The Merc With A Mouth Graces The Cover Of Entertainment Weekly; New Footage In Latest TV Spot
Deadpool 2 is set to hit theaters later this month, and in addition to a brand new TV spot for the upcoming sequel, Ryan Reynolds' Wade Wilson pops up on the cover of Entertainment Weekly's latest issue...
It's now officially Deadpool 2 month, and that means we should all prepare for a bombardment of Wade Wilson-related goodies as the movie's marketing kicks into high gear.
First up, EW's latest cover features the foul-mouthed Merc holding a picture of his alter-ego, Ryan Reynolds, over half his face. During an interview with the mag, the actor describes the upcoming sequel as "kind of a family film masquerading as a comic book film."
Reynolds also reveals that he wasn't too happy with the costume's upgrades - or lack thereof:
“You know, when it’s like your phone gives you an update, but it’s only like [the] font or something. It’s not going to give you some awesome thing. It was kind of that. My shin guards are shinier. I mean f—, who cares. Nothing that allowed me to find my penis within 20 minutes when I had to pee. No, nothing like that. God forbid we should just put a normal f—ing zipper in it.”
You'll find more on that by clicking here, but before you do that be sure to check out the latest TV spot for the film below.
This is a particularly funny one, and features a lot of new footage, including a shot of Wade taking a little spin in Professor Xavier's chair!
