If you're a fan of the Home Alone franchise, we'd definitely recommend checking out Home Sweet Home Alone when it arrives on Disney+ this Friday. A fun movie for the entire family, it features a great performance from Ally Maki, an actress who is no stranger to the wonderful world of Walt Disney after playing Giggle McDimples in Toy Story 4

Pixar frequently releases shorts with these Toy Story characters (Forky got an entire series), so bringing the fan-favourite Giggle back does make sense. When we spoke to Ally yesterday, we asked if she believes if such a return as the character could be a possibility.

"I mean, that would be my ultimate dream," she admitted. "I have this whole idea that all the little characters in all the different properties would come together and have a little superhero team of minis [Laughs]. Maybe Baby Groot’s there, Giggle McDimples [Laughs] and a couple of others. That character is so near and dear to my heart. Giggle McDimples is just my girl."

"I had the most wonderful time as I did on this project, but that one was two or three years of my life," Maki continued. "I became so close to those people and, you know, what an amazing movie to be part of. That’s definitely a dream, so I’ll have to pitch that!"

We'd love to see it happen, and as The Simpsons shorts on Disney+ have proven, the streamer isn't against mixing and matching characters from the different franchises they own.
