Marvel has revealed that the first big screen outing for the Sorcerer Supreme (Benedict Cumberbatch) will be released on DVD and Blu-ray in The UK and Ireland on March 6, 2017. No word on when Doctor Strange is set to hit stores in The US, but it probably won't be very long after that.

We also have a look at the provisional cover art, though it could well be different come March. Details on deleted scenes and extra features etc were not provided.

Doctor Strange proved to be a massive success for Marvel Studios both commercially and critically, so there's bound to be legions of fans lining up to catch it again on home release.

From Marvel comes DOCTOR STRANGE, the story of world-famous neurosurgeon Dr. Stephen Strange whose life changes forever after a horrific car accident robs him of the use of his hands. When traditional medicine fails him, he is forced to look for healing, and hope, in an unlikely place – a mysterious enclave known as Kamar-Taj. He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange – armed with newly acquired magical powers – is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence. Join Strange on his dangerous, mystifying, and totally mind-bending journey.

Just double checked over at Blu-Ray.com. Based off the release pattern of other Marvel blu-rays in UK and America, America usually gets the blu-ray at least a week AFTER the UK does.
