In my last article I did a quick fan cast for the upcoming Ant Man film. In this article I will go into why I chose the particular actor or actress for the role. Enjoy!

Daredevil/Matt Murdock: Simon Baker

I have loved this guy since I first saw him on "The Mentalist". Many other people have thrown out the name Michael C. Hall for the role of Matt Murdock, so I decided to go a different route and chose Baker.

Karen Page: Diane Kruger

I loved Diane in both National Treasure films and I believe she could totally pull off Karen.

Jack Murdock: Dolph Lundgren

Dolph is the perfect actor to play a veteran boxer. Dolph has the look of Jack and I believe Dolph could pull off the role of a father to a young Matt.

Foggy Nelson: Sean Astin

Sean Astin is one of my favorite actors out there. He was great in Lord of the Rings and Rudy. He and Simon would be believable as friends and Astin could even through in the humor that a Daredevil film would need.

Elektra Natchios: Mila Kunis

When I was thinking of actresses for this role, I tried to find one that was beautiful but yet could be B.A. Mila deffinantly fit that role. She has always been a great actress and it would be believable to see Mila stand up to Bullseye.

Bullseye: Zachary Quinto

Loved Quinto in Heroes and American Horror Story. He would be perfect playing a crazy character like Bullseye.

Kingpin: John Goodman

Yes you are probably saying "How original". But in all honesty I can not think of a better actor to play the intimidating Kingpin. Goodman not only has the look but would be a huge presence on screen.

Stick: George Takei

Not much to say here. Would be a great actor to provide guidance and training to both Daredevil and Elektra.

Ben Urich: Jack Coleman

Yes, another "Heroes" actor. Coleman was amazing in that show. The first season you could never tell if he was good or bad. He would be great as Urich, while him and Baker I believe would be great on screen together.

Leland Owlsley/The Owl: Liev Schreiber

Ok yes Origins was terrible, but Liev was a something good in that film. During my research for these actors and actresses I was trying to find ones who had never been in a superhero film. But Liev would be great and has a great look just like Owl.

@JorEllinator First of all thanks for the read. So let me ask you what is so bad about George Takei and Dolph?

@caseykelderman
Simon Baker has crossed my mind for the role lots of times, especially in that episode of The Mentalist when he loses his sight and actually references DD when trying to use his other senses to get around...then walks into a pole :D

Dolph Lundgren can't decide what accent to do half of the time and Takei is better fitted to comedy nowadays.
