Thanks to those from whom I was able to use pics
Here are the links to all of the Giant-size X-Men individual fancasts that led to this one.
It includes: (this may take a while to read) Please do so and give me feedback on the story as well as the cast.
Banshee, essentially a cop movie, the 3-hour epic kick starts the craze
Nightcrawler, a religious-esque movie akin to Priest, The Book of Eli and others with their background in religion
Colossus, a modern holocaust type story
Forge, replacing Thunderbird, is the story of a soldier finding his true self, as a Native-American mutant
Storm, a movie about losing innocence and the character built from those experiences
Sunfire, a revenge movie
Wolverine, the 3-parter is a pioneer story, a samurai story and an anti-government story. (side note: I love my government, but the story is what it is)

Uncanny X-Men:
The movie picks up after Wolverine, the last new recruit enters the Black bird. He is intro'd through birth names and code names to each other and Cyclops. Professor X explains what his team is all about, who they are and what has happened. The "what happened" part is expressed through a flashback of the battle.
The island of Genosha, similar to Russia (as seen in the Colossus fancast), was killing off the mutant citizens. Magneto, the X-Men's enemy numerous times prior, has taken it upon himself to wipe out the humans on the island. He has taken with him, his inner circle of "royal" mutants, dubbed The Brotherhood, and his foot soldiers, the mutants known as the Acolytes. Once the media spreads the words of the destruction at the hands of his team, the X-Men fight back.
The X-Men are hugely outnumbered, but at the behest of his teammates, Cyclops manages to escape back to the institute.
Double checking if all are OK with this, and they are, indeed, they move forward with the plan of action.
In The battle, of which Mystique has not yet returned (from her mission in the Forge fancast), and Magneto and Professor X, do not engage in battle (Prof stays at the institute), it is now 12 X-Men vs. 10 evil mutants.
Losing, Sunfire is enraged and goes all "Horesman" (as seen in his fancast) and nearly melts the entire population with his enhanced powers. Jean Grey, in a "mind" battle with Emma Frost, sences this and encompasses her teammate and herself with a protective psionic bubble which implodes. Darkness, like a star gone dead, appears inside the bubble, only for a sudden burst of light that Jean absorbs. When it is all said and done, Sunfire is nowhere to be seen and Jean's eyes are flaming and she is smoking with no signs of burns. Shaw, believing he has the opportunity to gain incredible strength through absorbing her energy, confronts her. She lets him do this. It's to much and he dies. She looks longingly at Cyclops before flying off into space.
The combined efforts of Pyro and Blob are enough to rip the wings out of the back of Angel. He is a bloddy mess, but alive. The battle is more-or-less a stale mate and the X-Men leave.
The evil mutants are shown heavily throughout the movie. The friendship of the boys' club of the Acolytes is focused on. Mystique returns after the battle and her relationship with her step daughter is a focus as well. Also, Rogue's issue with which side is the right side is detailed. Mystique's jealousy that she is merely a foot soldier and not one of the elite is of note.
The inner circle is just a bunch of snobs. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch (there so many different versions of how to portray and my favorite was in Wolverine and the X-Men) are key. Quicksilver is always trying to impress dad, never actually screwing up, yet never good enough. Scarlet Witch, on the other hand, can do no wrong, yet there is no dissension between the 2.
Back with the X-Men, angel, still recovering is having nightmares of a large figure who promises he can help him. He leaves the team in search of the man behind the voice (the voice is familiar to those that watched the Sunfire movie as it is the voice of Apocalypse).
Beast promises to help find a way to help him grow the wings back. He tries to develop a kick-start antidote and it inevitably causes his "blue fur" mutation. He leaves the team (which kind of pisses of Nightcrawler).
The irrational Iceman walks away as well, having lost every friend except Cyclops. He leaves on good terms, however, looking to go to college.
Senator Kelly, Bolivar Trask and Graydon Creed (the later 2 are seen in the Forge fancast) announce to the world that they are developing the Sentinels.
Magneto offers sanctuary in Genosha to every mutant and a personal invitation to the X-Men. The X-Men decline. "They are cockroaches ,Charles. If you want to die at the hands of a cockroach, then you'd better not scream."
Astonishing X-Men: The Sequel
The movie opens with the X-Men training in the Danger Room. Shortly into the movie, the Marauders tear up a parade within the city, demanding the X-Men. Professor X telepathically has a sit down brunch-like conversation with Magneto about the return of their old nemesis, Sinister. How he must be back for Cyclops and how the X-Men are not equipped to take them down. He needs Magneto's help. He sends the Acolytes to assist.
In the melee, Rogue switches sides to aid the X-Men. Gambit, attracted to her, and that is the only reason, switches sides as well. He kills Longshot, saying, "I guess your luck ran out."
Toad dies as well, upsetting his friends deeply.
A bad ass fight between Wolverine and Sabretooth occurs because, despite the memory loss, the 2 remember each other quite well.
Defeated, Sinister says his purpose for Cyclops was much greater than they assume. He is trying to stop something, someone, much more deadly than anything imaginable. The future depended on it.
The trio of humans unveil the Sentinels.
Extreme X-Men: The Threequel
The X-Men recruit Shadowcat and fight the Sentinels. Magneto and his evil mutants attack NYC in response to the Sentinel attacks. Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch double cross their father and turn him, and themselves, in, seeing the error of their ways.
X-Factor
Apocalypse brings the fight to the mutants and humans to determine the strongest. "Survival of the fittest."
He brings with him, his new Horsemen. Arch Angel, Black Tom and Juggernaut (who came to him, as shown in the flash back of the formation of his new Horsemen) and Polaris.
Beast comes back, explaining that he has become a Morlock leader, but handed over the responsibilities as he is an X-Man first. Iceman returns more mature from college to help his friends and mentor.
Within the Marauders, Havok finds it hard to battle Polaris, whose beauty is overwhelming to him. Sabretooth decides to cut his loses and walks away from the coming battle.
White Queen fights alongside the Marauders and X-Men to defeat Apocalypse and his Horsemen. Mastermind stays in Genosha to usher in the mutants as planned. The Acolytes are sent on another mission by the White Queen to kill the trio of humans and shut down the Sentinel program.
Apocalypse kills the telepathic Emma Frost first, as she may pose the largest threat. Her psionic powers are no match for him.
Forge is killed.
Sauron tries to life-suck Apocalypse and the power nearly mutates and deforms him into a pterodactyl-like humanoid before he painfully dies.
Apocalypse grabs a hold of Sinister, calling him a traitor and a failure. Just before he can kill him too, a portal opens and Cable, guns-a-blazing and Phoenix (Rachel Summers), flames-a-plenty, come out blasting. The distraction is enough for Sinister to disappear from the war, seemingly intact.
The Acolytes are successful in killing Creed and shutting down the program however, Trask and Kelly live.
Polaris, still under Apocalypse's control, unexpectedly saves Havok from death.
Arch Angel sheds the metal exterior of his wings exposing the feathers within, before he collapses hard to the ground.
As Cable and Phoenix lay into Apocalypse, there is little belief that these strangers can help defeat him.
Suddenly, Jean Grey (ablaze) flies like a missile into the ancient villain. the impact knocks every far away. When the dust clears, niether Jean nor Apocalypse are there.
The control over his Horsemen is immediately lifted. Cable and Phoenix see the look on Cyclops' face saddened by the second departure of the woman he loves. Cable says "Relax Slim, you and Red were made for each other, she'll be back." Phoenix adds "We're proof of that. Let's go brother." With no further explanation, they teleport away.
Tom and Juggernaut are locked up and Polaris leaves with Havok. Angel is carried back home by the X-Men.
Banshee leaves on good terms and promises to be there of they ever need him, but with his daughter and Miora is where he belongs.
The last scene is Mystique telling her team that the execution of Creed "will only serve to promote fear in the other 2. Their time will come. First, we must complete our next mission." Pyro inquires. She responds "Break out Magneto."
THE END
1st class
Daniel Craig returns as Professor X
As Seen In: Casino Royale
Hero Bio: Professor X is the Nick Fury of this cast. He gathers them up but never involves himself in the battle
Why him: I thought of this several months ago and I am really proud of this one. He's a tougher looking mentor than expected. He would have to play it with a neutral American accent, though. At 43 years old, he'd be mentoring the X-Men for roughly 10 years and I think his age is ideal.

James Lafferty as Cyclops
As Seen In: One Tree Hill
Hero Bio: Cyclops starts out as the twiggy unsure leader of the quintessential X-Men. He develops into one of the most respected leaders in the Marvel Universe.
Why him: 1, I had Lafferty in my head as I recently chose him in my Green Lantern Generations Fancast. 2, I wanted someone relatively close in height to Scott Summers; Lafferty is 6'2". 3, RoadDogXXIV@ just used him in the same position and the idea grew on me thanks to him. At 26 years old, he is the perfect age as his affiliation has been for 10 years.
pic by RoadDogXXIV@
Elena Satine as Jean Grey
As seen in: Smallville
Bio: Grey has died and come back multiple times. She has always been an asset to the team and held them together. She is possessed by the Phoenix Force as she is powerful enough to contain it. I modified the Force to keep it on Earth and connect it to Sunfire's Apocalypse-enhanced power. There is no love triangle with Wolverine only because, in his fancast movies I wrote up, he's had enough women and it wasn't necessary.
Why: This one is completely stolen from many. Whoever thought of this first was spot on. She is 23. A few years here and there mean zip in Hollywood. Hell, they can both play 24 year olds and know one would know the difference.
pic by Josh Wilding@
Chris Riggi as Beast
ASI: Vampires Suck
Bio: Beast is a tragic character whose appearance weighs heavy on his mind. I added the Morlock thing as a shout out to Dark Beast and the Morlocks. It would also add depth to Nightcrawler as he has always looked that way and dealt with it as best he could.
Why: To me, this completely original pick has the right look for Beast. A stocky 5'11" who can be the jock and the nerd. 25 years old
Garret Hedlund as (Arch)Angel
ASI: Tron
Bio: The winged hero lines for his power. When it is violently taken away from him, he seeks to regain it any way he can.
Why: Truthfully, I wanted him in here as he can fit so many different heroes in my eyes. I actually created Longshot just for him but I could not find an actor who had the depth of Hedlund and was in the age range I needed. I was also gunning to have him as Havok. 26 years old. 6'1 1/2". (an original pick)
Colton Haynes as Iceman
ASI: Teen Wolf
Bio: Seen as immature, Drake's irrational behavior is due to high emotion and temper. He jokes around to hide this. He is an omega mutant who has yet to untap his full potential.
Why: I see no problem with casting Shia LaBeouf (age 25) because I think he's perfect but many here hate on him. Haynes (age 22) is my 2nd pick and would still be great, if not slightly more intense which my story actually calls for. This story has as little comedy (mostly at the hands of the Acolytes) as acceptable. (an original pick)
Giant-size X-Men
Please look no further than the aforementioned Fancasts for info on these characters. I will add only what is needed
Tom Hardy as Wolverine
Bio: No infatuation of Jean here. Not that I don't love that but it was a story that didn't fit. His bond with Shadowcat, however, will be in there
pic by HailToTheKingBaby@
Lauren London (26 years old) as Storm
Bio: Hints of her leadership on the battlefield are seen. She has a connection with Forge, which kills her on the inside when he dies
(original)
Armie Hammer (24) as Colossus
Bio: Sparks between him and Shadowcat. No one is stronger than him
pic by HailToTheKingBaby@
Anton Yelchin (22) as Nightcrawler
Bio: His tension with Beast's mood over his own appearance is important
(original)
Eddie Spears (28) as Forge
Bio: Very tense with Mystique. I'd want that to be very intriguing. Also a connection and attraction to Storm
(original)
Charlie Hunnam as Banshee
Bio: The others really respect him. It should be believed that he would be 2nd in command, not Storm, if he stuck around.
(original)
Rain as Sunfire
ASI: Ninja Assassin
Bio: He serves to show the power that Apocalypse has over his Horsemen (of the past and present) and as a way to condense the Phoenix saga.
(original)
The Brotherhood
Viggo Mortensen (52) as Magneto
A History of Violence
Bio: The self-proclaimed mutant messiah. Arrogant and thick-headed. Always a step ahead. He truly does care about Xavier, he just hates how ignorant and naive his old friend is.
Why: I was going forward with using Clancy Brown (an original pick, I believe) as Magneto but I went with a fan-favorite instead. Back when Brown was my pick, I opted to use Viggo as Sinister (my pick in my adaption of X-Men Origins: Gambit Fancast) but felt he was better in this role for this story. I wanted Magneto to be a physical threat and be very calculating. Brown is maybe too big and not as great an actor (although still great), to me, as Viggo.
pic by ABZ
Ryan Gosling (30) as Quicksilver
The Notebook
Bio: As I wrote, There are so many different ways writes have approached the relationship between Pietro and his father and his personality. He's always been quick-tempered, so that stays true. He is the 2nd in command and above a silly rivalry with any enemy in particular. He's the rich, spoiled son who thinks he's above others. He never messes up, but his father always expects more, there is no pleasing him. He wants Quicksilver to take over but can't bring himself to admit he is ready, I guess.
Why:I usually have in mind a very thin (the whole metabolism thing) if not sickly looking guy. I also was developing him as a rival to Cyclops, his complete and utter opposite, Havok (personality still up for debate at the time of this direction)(representing Marauders) and Pyro (representing Acolytes) so that each group had that 2nd in command thing. Then I saw a repeat of Wolverine and the X-Men. That type worked really well for that story and He reminded me of Gosling. Initially, I even thought of using Hedlund for this role as well. My other pick, Jake Abel, didn't fit the new persona as well and Gosling is a fantastic actor who, like Hedlund, fits a dozen different characters. (original)
Eliza Dushku (30) as Scarlet Witch
Buffyverse
Bio: The child that can do no wrong. There is no competition between her and her brother directly, but indirectly it drives them both. I'm relating her to a mafia princess if you will. Very capable, and even though her father favors her, she'll never be the one to take over, being a woman. That is hinted, never actually said. In the end, they see all the pain they've caused and do what's right at the cost of power. The spoiled children of the "King of mutants" give up what would've been there's to squander.
Why: When I used the older Gosling (over Abel) I had to change my Scarlet pick. I know she's not a new choice and, recently, a less used choice but I think it's undeniable how perfect she is. She is an amazing and beautiful actress.
pic by axelsson@
Sienna Miller as Emma Frost
GI Joe
Bio: Not nearly as detrimental to the story as I'd have liked her to be. When the story started flowing, her part seemed less involved. Still, I'd like her to keep all of her trademark characteristics. The reason she dies at the hands of Apocalypse is to play on her importance. She was so powerful and posed such a threat that he had to take her out first, being the only telepath at the fight. I got the idea from that same episode of Wolverine and the X-Men where Quicksilver knocks her unconscious 1st as she poses the largest threat.
Why: This was almost as hard as choosing Quicksilver. Sienna is so pretty and a solid actor. (original)
Clancy Brown as Sebastian Shaw
Bio: He and Frost are a nod to the Inner Circle of the Hellfire Club. There is nothing underlying in his personality that stands out, really. No jealousy. no vendetta, he just knows he's a bad ass.
Why: Because I couldn't NOT use Brown. After being so close to using him as the main villain, I had to fit him in somewhere; enter Shaw. He did not fit in the story, which is why he is killed of rather quickly, in such a manner. His death does show the power of Dark Phoenix, though. As long as he gets to beat down on the X-Men before he goes, all is good. There good possibly be a lustful romance between he an Frost, one that isn't of love, just 2 people who think know one else is as good for them so, therefor, they are compatible. (original)
Hugh Laurie as Mastermind
House
Bio: Not much is there until he realizes that he's the only one left and the idea starts to develop that Genosha is now his to rule. I think that is a cool concept and 1 can imagine that Magneto's return would bode well for the illusionist.
Why: It just hit me. How great would he be in this role? (original)
The Acolytes
Jordana Brewster as Mystique
Bio: Always with her own agenda, always loyal to Magneto. Jealous she is not part of the Brotherhood. Great leader with a loyal team. Feelings for Forge. Tense with Rogue but loves her.
(original)
Jamie Bell as Pyro
Jumper
Bio: None of the Acolytes are any different than what 1 would expect. They are tight with each other and are comical. They have a good time, possibly the tightest of each team depicted seeing as how the X-Men are all new as a team.
Why: He was a finalist as Nightcrawler but I knew then I was going to use him here. He works perfectly as Pyro. (I may have seen this once before)
pic by HailToTheKingBaby@
Joe Manganiello as Avalanche
True Blood
Why: He's huge. He can act. It was kind of obvious to me. (original)
Abraham Benrubi as Blob
Happytown
Why: Back in my very first Fancast, X-Men circa 1993 , Berubi was my pick for Blob. I hadn't seen him used prior to that or since. He's older now and perfect for a diversely-aged group of Acolytes. He's 6'7", comedic, dramatic and heavyset. A fat suit is ideal here. He is a viable threat to anyone, not the joke portrayed in Origins
Michael Sheen as Toad
Underworld
Bio: Of note is that his death is not ignored. They really are friends. I didn't think a comical lackey was the right approach here. Yet, something was lacking in the Ray Park version. The closest I can think of is the newer, cooler version (which was based loosely off of Park's) as the best way to describe this Toad.
Why: An unconventional pick. He would bring out the best version of Toad yet. (original)
Caitlin Stasey (21) as Rogue
Tomorrow, When the War Began
Bio: The obvious things here. Tension with Mystique: Connection with Gambit: Struggle with the side to choose. Not much is written about her as the story would develop in the typical way. She plays a large role in these movies.
Why: The beauty played the lead in the above movie and I believe can capture the angst that is Rogue. (original)
The Marauders
Mads Mikkelson as Mr. Sinister
Casino Royale
Bio: His history in this is vague. He obviously was important in the early lives of Xavier and Magneto, possibly when they were allies. He has a history with Apocalypse, given Apocalypse's disappointment with him. It would seem that he knows much more about his foe than he let's on. Cyclops is very important to him, possibly relating that back to Xavier and Magneto interaction with him in previous years, although Cyclops has no knowledge of him. The purpose of his team is to kill his greatest enemy.
Why: I juggled between Mortensen, Brown and him. I have seen this pick before and settled on this. He is uber creepy and great for this part.
pic by HailToTheKingBaby@
Benjamin Stone as Havok
Chloe King
Bio: Not the wimp I intended. I wanted a strong leader identical to Cyclops, just younger and less filled out. No knowledge of his relationship to Scott. Seemingly no knowledge of Sinister's plans involving genetics. He and Polaris end up walking off with each other, away from blood and battle. The story formed caused me to go a much different route as intended with his personality.
Why: He is impressive on Chloe King and, if he can kick the accent (hell, he doesn't have to as maybe he grew up in England through adoption) and he would be great as the younger brother and naive leader of killers and thieves. (original)
Christian Camergo as Sauron
Hurt Locker
Bio: He sucks the life force of mutants to attain strength and power. He flies and has incredible strength and resistance. This version is strictly human until he attacks Apocalypse. He body changes akin to the mid-change in America Werewolf in London.
Why: I think I can get away with a great deal in who I choose for a character that I've yet to see cast outside of my Circa '93 cast. He is my Mr. Fantastic pick and I transitioned him to this one. (original)
Kevin Durand as Sabretooth
Bio: I love that he's a hired hand. He couldn't give less of a crap about goals and rights or anything. If he gets to hunt and kill he's cool with it; he gets paid also. It's even more of a bonus when he gets to duke it out with his old rival. I like how he cuts his losses and leaves when things get rough.
pic by HailToTheKingBaby@
Jake Abel as Longshot
Supernatural
Bio: I know I've completely screwed up the Marauders lineup but this line up works as each member is individually important. I also know that I hated when the X-Men movies took so many liberties. Oh well. Longshot's luck powers would be so cool on this team. He and Gambit, as the 2 dapper partners and thieves of the team would balance nicely with the savagery that Sabretooth and Sauron bring to the fold. I see their partnership as a game of one-upsmanship. Neither 1 can trust the other. in the end gambit turns on him in favor of Rogue. Bros before hoes my a$$.
Why: Had him in there as Angel, Quicksilver and then again Havok. Settled on this. He has a seedy look befitting this incarnation. (original)
Chace Crawford (25) as Gambit
Twelve
Bio: In the end, although he turns to the side of good, it's only to follow Rogue, not a choice between right and wrong. It's debatable if he can be trusted since he turns on, and kills, his partner.
Why: Many choose him for Cyclops, but he's a bit too short (6 ft) in my eyes. He looks like a younger Ian Somerhalder, you is a great fit for an older Gambit, but not in this story. (original, if not obvious)
Humans
Mathew Bomer as Graydon Creed
White Collar
Bio: A JFK Jr-type in the eyes of the public. As shady and underhanded as they come in actuality. (original)
Adam Baldwin as Bolivar Trask
Chuck
(original)
William H. Macey as Senator Kelly
Fargo
Bio: The mutant-hating Senator we've grown to loath.
Why: It seemed so easy I'm surprised I've never seen this before. (original)
The 3 Remaining Horseman
Tahmoh Penikett as Tom Cassidy
Bio: He and Juggernaut seek out Apocalypse in order to gain more power
(original)
Nathan Jones as Juggernaut
Bio: Him NOT being a mutant will be explored in this movie, with a note that he is the step brother of Xavier.
Lyndsy Fonseca as Polaris
Kick-Ass
Bio: Unknowingly the daughter of Magneto and sister to the twins. Apocalypse, however is very aware of this. Amplified by him, her powers rival magneto's. She walks away from it all with Havok by her side.
Why: Back when Abel was Quicksilver, she was Scarlet Witch, I simply shifted her to here when I made the change of Quicksilver. (original)
AND..
Dennis Haysbert as Apocalypse
The Future is Here
Ron Pearlman as Cable
Sons of Anarchy
Bio: In this he is seemingly the son of Cyclops and Jean Grey, though it's debatable as Rachel (Phoenix) calls him brother, she could mean 1/2 brother. The time from whence he came is not known in this movie.
Why: I get that he is not in the top 2 choices but I like him better than both and he is an original pick I think fits the bulky, hardened mutant.
Amanda Righetti as Phoenix
Friday The 13th
Bio: The daughter of Scott and Jean. We don't know if she is from the same time as her brother, but due to the age difference their is more to the story. I've teamed them up here because I thought it was a very unique idea.
Why: If not for her height, she would be a candidate, in my eyes, for an older Jean Grey. With her height, she can easily be the child of her red-headed mother and tall father. (original)
New Recruit
Shelby Young (19) as Shadowcat
The Social Network
Bio: She is the innocent newbie of the team and has the obvious dialogue with Wolverine and Colossus. She represents the innocence of the series.
Why: She has the perfect look I was wanting for the character. I used her in my American Dad fancast and it struck me that this was where to use her again. I wanted he to be the youngest but I didn't want to make her illegal when Colossus and her are interested in 1 another. (original)
