Venom's story starts in this year's The Amazing Spider-man 2. In the trailer, a tiny little blip on Harry Osborn's computer machine reads "Venom Storage." Now, this may have nothing to do with Venom, and just be something at Oscorp named "Venom," but for the sake of my story, I'll assume it refers to the character. In the comics, there is a version of the Venom Symbiote that doesn't come from space. It's a suit designed by Richard Parker to help cure cancer. Now in the trailer, we hear a recording of Richard Parker say he discovered what Oscorp was really going to use "his work" for. That work, ladies and gentlemen, just might be the suit. When Oscorp realized how powerful the suit can be, they wanted to use it as a weapon, but Richard Parker wouldn't allow that. After he was killed and all his work was lost, they hid Venom in storage, secretly trying to figure out another way to use it. After hearing about the suit, Peter intends to find it to help him defeat Electro. In the trailer, Peter mentions something about not being able to overcome enemies more powerful than him, so he knows he needs to bond with Venom. His plan works, and the black suit wins him the battle. He enjoys the new power, and decides to keep it.
Flash forward to TASM 3, where Spidey is still loving the black suit. As teased in the trailer for TASM 2, Doc Ock and Vulture are the leading villains. We also get introduced to Eddie Brock, a reporter for the Daily Bugle tasked with putting the pieces together to discover Spider-man's identity. (And where there's Daily Bugle, there's J.K. Simmons reprising his role as J Jonah Jameson...please?) Brock thinks he has it, but ends up accusing the wrong man. He's fired from his job and rejected by the community. He develops a hatred for Spider-man. Meanwhile, as Spider-man fights Doc Ock and Vulture, he becomes increasingly more aggressive. He doesn't go emo like in Spider-man 3, but its obvious that he's becoming more like Venom. The climatic moment is when rips apart Doc Ock's tentacles and is ready to kill him. He then stops and looks around at the terrified bystanders. They didn't think their hero could sink to this level. He sees a little kid dressed in a Spidey shirt standing in horror. Peter realizes that he can't do this. He leaves a defeated Doc Ock in the street for the police to collect. Spider-man then flees to the top of a building under construction. Coincidentally, that's the same place where a lost Eddie Brock is preparing to commit suicide. A frustrated Spider-man beings banging around, and the sound rips the suit off. It falls to its new host, Eddie Brock. With the suit gone, Peter rushes back home before someone sees him and figures out he's Spider-man. The final shot is of Venom rising. Cut to black. Venom screeches.
So that's it! That is what I think the fastest way to get Venom on the big screen! From there, he gets his own solo film in 2017-ish. We get to see the more anti-hero side of him there. He doesn't appear in TASM 4, but comes back for TASM 5, where he is the main villain.
