Hi everyone.

I had an idea regarding the MCU, and how they could "kill two birds with one stone" so to speak. "Black Panther" is a possible film for Marvel Studios' Phase 3 of their Cinematic Universe. "Namor" is another potential property that could be adapted for the future phases. I thought it would be neat if BP and Namor were introduced in the same film, united against a common threat.

The reasons for the duo's simultaneous introduction to general audiences really rests on one reason alone: the fact that they're kings. Namor of Atlantis, and T'Challa of Wakanda. Having the two go through their origins in the same film would save time, and if they did it for the reason above, it would be logical. Have the pair fight against Ulysses Klaw & Krang, and you have yourself a movie.

My votes for who should play T'Challa and Namor are Chiwetel Ejiofor and Jason Behr.

And for the baddies:

Vincent Cassel

Jason Lee Scott

@DrDoom,

That's debatable. As far as "Joe Public" is concerned, Namor is equal to Aquaman. If Namor shared the screen with T'Challa, there'd be another interesting character to keep the audience invested, should they doubt Namor's quality.

Howabout "Black Panther & Namor"? Marketing it wouldn't be that hard. And like I said, given their status as kings, and their interaction in the comics, it wouldn't be that hard.

I'm only suggesting this because it could save time in terms of introducing new characters.

But thanks for commenting. ;)

@DrDoom,

Also, the fact that one is on "The Avengers" and the other "The Defenders" is irrelevant to an intro movie.

I'd introduce Namor in a Defenders film which includes Hulk a pre-established character and Sr.Strange a likely soon to be established character.

I think DrDoom is right.

@everybody,

I think y'all need to think outside the box every once in a while.

The popularity of certain genres lies in the interests of the fickle general public. Different means of saving time in establishing new characters while the genre is still hot is smart thinking if you ask me.
