For those of you who don't know, just before the release of the, well let's just call it less-than-overwhelming film, Batman & Robin, director Joel Schumacher had plans for a fifth Batman film, one that would take the Dark Knight back to his more Burton-esque roots.
Of course, after the disaster that was Batman & Robin hit, the film was shelved and the Caped Crusader sat in a Hollywood-limbo until Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer came along with the smash hit Batman Begins.
Batman Triumphant was to take place a few years after Batman & Robin. Dick Grayson and Barbara would be lovers in college, and Bruce Wayne would still be Batman. The new villain this time around would have been the Scarecrow. Along side him would be Harley Quinn, imagined as the Joker's daughter, rather than his lover.
Jack Nicholson was even set to reprise his role as the Joker in a hallucination caused by the Scarecrow. Of course, plans fell through and the film was ultimately scrapped.
This is a poster for what I think the fifth Batman film would look like!
A few notes about the poster:
Batman is George Clooney. He was set to take up the mantle once more for
Batman Triumphant. I did, however, get rid of those godawful nipples.
The Scarecrow image is not mine. I found it on Google one day and thought it fit with the scene of
Batman Triumphant. If this is somebody's image on here, please let me know so I can give you credit.
Harley Quinn is played Madonna. She had a few films under her belt in the '90's and I thought she would be a pretty good Harley.
The bat-logo I used is the one from Arkham City. This might confuse people, but I thought it was a good cross between the bat-symbol of the Burton/Schumacher era and the new bat-logo from the Nolan films.
Let me know what you think! I worked hard on this and I would love some feedback!
