The story would be a loose adaptation of Heir To The Empire of the Thrawn Trilogy, the Legacy of the Force series, as well as an original story.
Set about 30 years after 'Return of the Jedi', Luke Skywalker is a fabled grandmaster of a new Jedi order, rarely seen in public, Princess Leia is now a wise leader of the New Rupublic, and Han Solo is still sailing the stars in his old rust bucket, the Millennium Falcon, now upgraded and supped up. Luke has twin children, Jaina and Jacen, to carry on the legacy of the Skywalkers.
The Empire still exists, a remnant of its former glory, but still in control of a corner of the galaxy, under the command of Grand Admiral Thrawn, a military genius who psychoanalyses his enemies by studying their art.
Everything is shaken up with the arrival of a Sith Lord, the son of the Emperor himself, a true heir to the Empire, who uses his immense power along with Thrawn's strategy to deal serious blows to the Republic.
As the Republic and the Jedi struggle to retaliate and defend against the power of the Empire and its new leaders, the legendary Luke Skywalker himself re-enters the battle for the galaxy...

When I saw the Harrison Ford Pic, I thought this was a joke. Then, I saw the rest, and I can kinda like it. Get rid of Efron though. I see him and just picture singing 'n dancing tweens.

Believe it or not, he's actually a good actor.

@DentonKnight I almost hope Efron is in the movie. Because most of the movies that he's been in since that awful musical have mostly been R-rated movies. But people still think of High School Musical when they see him, so I hope he gets paired with JJ Abrams because he'll (Abrams) bring out the best out of Efron and then people will forget about the the musical, and will see that Efron is actually a good actor.

As for the idea...I don't mind it. I don't know how I would feel about the Emperor having a son, it seems kind of silly TBH, but I've seen sillier ideas work.

Michael Fassbender isn't exactly the kind of actor I pictured for Talon Karrde, but I wouldn't be 100% opposed to it.

Everything else is good, some people will have a problem with the Cumberbatch casting, but I think he would be a perfect Thrawn.
