StrangerX casts The Justice League's Wonder Woman, Batman, and Martian Manhunter

Here's a quick look at who I think DC should consider casting for their Justice League installment

Not only does DC have a great property with the Justice League, but many ways of putting the iconic team together. There have been so many great castings and story ideas going around the net. I've decided to do one of my own with the big Three first and a fourth possible member in The Martian Manhunter.

Rachel Weisz/ Diana Prince

I may get some flack for this; However, From the Mummy I & II to Constantine, and now being featured in the upcoming Oz the Great and Powerful. Rachel Weisz is a veteran actress who is still in great shape and no stranger to CBM's. If the focus for the Jl movie is to have a no nonsense Diana. Weisz would be a wise decision. She not only has the look, but a likability to pull off one of the toughest character castings there is.

Eric Bana/ Bruce Wayne

One of the easiest choices to make for me was Bana as Batman. Bana is more than physically capable, but like myself many fans noticed during Hulk, and Star Trek. Eric Bana has shown the capability of bringing out a Dark side that could match the like's of Keaton's version, but the acting chops to match that of Christian Bale.

Henry Cavil/ is Superman

This is a given. To change the actor now would be a waste, plus Cavil looks great as Supes

Peter Mensah/ J'onn Jonzz

This guy rocked in Spartacus. Not much else to say, but slap some green paint and we have our silent but deadly Martian Manhunter.

Now although this fancast may be short and sweet. I don't see a problem with having these four as the only characters to appear in a JL movie first. Following with the idea of having Flash and Green Lantern for a future even bigger movie with Darkseid.

not to be overtly critical, but outside your Superman pick, everyone is 40-50's...

As far as taste, I'm not a fan of Weisz as Wonder Woman, but had it been like 10 years ago, i'd have gone with the other two

Cavil is a given. At this stage I can't see how anyone can justify casting anyone else. He is looking like the PERFECT Superman! All he needs is a performance on the same level as he gave in the Immortals (which wasn't stella but solid enough) and Superman will be defined for the generation.

Loving Peter as Martian Manhunter! 'Nuff said!

Eric as Batman. It's growing on me. He is a very good intense/conflicted actor when needed, in good shape and Troy showed his screen fighting skills nicely.

Rachel as Wonder Woman. Not sure. She's gorgeous, extremely talented (one of the best actresses around today) and physically fit. But I think she's just a little too slender. Lynn Collins would probably get my pic but I'll happily sit and watch Rachel in the outfit.

Good casting!

I don't think age is an issue. In fact, it's probably better that they are older for a JL movie. Having Batman much younger wouldn't make sense. He needs to be close to 30 at least for starting his life as Batman, how else can you gain the experience in detective work and fighting skills he needs? Then he needs to be on the job for at least another 5 years to go through the whole, wanted vigilante -> accepted vigilante -> respected hero -> respected by heroes, arc.

As for other castings, RDJ has shown age doesn't matter and with today's fitness programmes available to Hollywood we are seeing more seasoned actors taking roles. Which is fantastic because I'm sick of every character (teen or old) being played by a 25 year old!

Thanks for the comments

@RobertGarlen- For me it's never been age, but if the actors can pull off the characters and make them believable.

@Thunder- The younger castings have thrown me off lately as well. I think a team with members in their prime should be the focus

I was all in for Fassbender when Mark Millar mentioned him as his first choice, but he really has been in almost everyone's fancast.
