Episode 23:
New Avengers
Okay, first lets just jump into the story.
With the help of the Council of Kangs, Kang is set free of the Avengers prison and builds another time machine using Stark's arc reactor. The Avengers are shifted into some other time zone or what ever (didn't really explain that...) but at any rate Iron Man contacts all the other "New Avengers" consisting of Spider-Man, War Machine, Wolverine, Iron Fist, Luke Cage and the Thing. With Kang emitting time distortions around New York, it's up to the team to take out the out of time Ninjas, dinosaurs etc. and ultimately take the fight to Kang. The team is no match for Kang and it is finally up to Spider-man to use his spider-sense to tell how to disable the time machine while the others distract Kang.
I really love this show, mainly because it shows that Spider-man is a leader. That's right he's not some novice annoying idiot that Marvel seems to currently write him as.
He's the future Captain America and ultimately I think he would be the leader of the Avengers. Think about it. He has the intelligence of Tony Stark and heart of Captain America. This show shows that and shows some great Spidey/Wovie banter. I love this line: "I'm Spider-man and this is my trusty sidekick Wolverine." Now that's good Spidey humor. Something Ultimate Spider-man seems to miss...
At any rate, this Spider-man seems to not be in continuity of Ultimate Spider-man but rather Spectacular, which is just how I like it. I think the guy who is doing Ultimate Spider-man has his voice dubbed over Josh Keaton's voice. I don't mind this honestly as long as they include both voice overs in the DVD and let you choose which one you want.
But lets get on with the other parts of the episode. Wolverine is great, I think he's the same guy from Wolverine and the X-men, so no problem with that.
I like the inclusion of Luke Cage and Iron Fist. I personally think that a Heroes for hire Live Action TV series could work well. Although Iron Fist needs his own solo movie first.
War Machine is good, although he doesn't really do much. I did think it was funny that Thing mistook him for Stark though.
Speaking of Thing, I liked his inclusion in the show, although it makes me wish we could get a new Fantastic Four show. Perhaps they could make it part of the same universe as the newly announced
Avengers Assemble show?

Episode 24:
Operation Galactic Storm
This show has a lot of heart and meaning in it. But first, let's see what's the main plot.
The Kree attempt to make a wormhole by Earth's sun, which would ultimately tear it in half. Captain Mar-Vell, offers to help the Avengers try to prevent this, they accept. After defeating several Kree warriors, the Avengers head to the wormhole to destroy the machines which are creating it trying to save Earth's sun. Black Panther's ship is drawn to the sun, with Cap having to make the decision to sacrifice Black Panther in order to destroy the wormhole.
The great thing about this show is it has so much meaning, such good characters and heart. Sure most good shows need humor but it also needs drama (I'm looking at you
Ultimate Stupid-Man Spider-man).
This show makes you believe that the Avengers, most notably Black Panther, may not survive. Tingles run down your spine as Cap makes his decision to sacrifice Black Panther, to save the sun from being torn apart. There is an actual parallel to the sun being torn apart, as Cap is being torn apart by his decision. An amazing episode with a gigantic cliff hanger at the end.

Episode 24:
Live Kree or Die
Hawkeye successfully shoots down the machines in subspace which were making the wormhole to Kree space, only to have the Avengers trapped on the Kree's side of the universe. Thor manages to keep all of the Kree warriors on Hala busy while Ms Marvel lands their damaged Quinjet. Black Panther joins them after explaining he was able to teleport to a Kree ship and steal one of their smaller air crafts to help the rest of the Avengers on Hala. The Avengers assemble to confront the Kree's Supreme Intelligence.
One of the biggest things I liked about this episode is it really showed Thor's power. Thor fights off (summoning a storm) most if not all of the Kree Warriors on Hala without breaking a sweat. Sadly we do not see much of this, but there is still a fair amount.
But there is no way this show doesn't have enough action. From fighting Kree-Created-Monsters to fighting entire fleets of Kree ships this show has some great action scenes.
I can't think of any mistakes in this episode either. Epic just, epic. I also like Steve continues to be calling all the shots on the team.

Episode 24:
Avengers Assemble!
The final episode of our beloved
EMH is here. But before we all start to cry, lets look at the episode's plot.
Stark and Rogers are contemplating what legacy the Avengers are leaving behind on the world, when huge asteroids fill the sky. Hearing Galactus is coming, the Avengers assemble all the recruits around the world, consisting of: Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Wasp, Yellow Jacket, Antman (Scott Lang), Spider-man, Wolverine, Doc Samson, War Machine, Quake, Human Torch, Mister Fantastic, Thing, Invisible Girl, Black Panther, Winter Soldier, Black Widow, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Hawkeye, Ms Marvel, Vision, and Falcon. Cap splits the team up to go after the different heralds. After defeating each of the heralds, Galactus starts absorbing the power himself. Leaving the Avengers ultimately putting him in the Negative Zone so that he can feed off of Antimatter particles forever.
Right off the bat I've got to say this is probably the most epic show I've ever seen. Having all these characters fight side by side is so great it's unbelievable.
I also like it that even though, we have several leaders in the team, it's Cap who is again calling the shots.
Some have said that Galactus was too weak in this episode but I wouldn't say so for a few reasons. Why is he feeding off this planet? Because he doesn't have very much power. Usually Galactus tries to feed off of dead planets which do not have any life forms on them but are still fresh enough to replenish his power. So basically this time he's probably running on fumes and can't put up much of a fight as his power is nearly drained.
I personally thought it was genius on how they defeat him, putting him in the Negative Zone. And it was a brilliant villain to sum up this great series. It is too bad we will never see this continuity's Falcon or Antman (Scott Lang) to become a fully established characters though.
Still when it comes right down to it, you've got to admit
The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes has been one of the most fun, complex, engaging, and intense cartoons you'll ever see. They were able to introduce a massive amount of villains/story lines into this series and in my opinion pulled all of them off well at worst. Great show, great final. Let's all shed a tear and wave good bye to this series and make room for Marvel's next new show
Avengers Assemble!
