Nerdist reckons Josh Trank's
Fantastic Four reboot will see Toby Kebbell's Doctor Doom build himself a bit of help to take on Mr. F, Thing, Torch and Invisible Woman. In their latest edition of Nerdist News, the site report that
"Doombots will definitely be in the film, in the form of drones that the good doctor controls telekinetically." Here's the vid.
Even if you're not a reader of
Fantastic Four comics, it should be fairly obvious what Doombots are: robot version of Doctor Doom! They began as exact replicas of the villain in the early issues, but have taken various forms over the years so who knows how they'll be depicted in the movie. We'll have to take this as a rumor for now of course, but it makes sense that Doom would need some help going up against the FF, and it gives The Thing something to clobber too. What do you think?
