Ioan Gruffud, who next appears as Lancelot in King Arthur, may be cast as Reed Richards, Mr. Fantastic in the Fantastic Four movie.

He’d join likely cast members Michael Chiklis (The Shield) as Ben Grimm/The Thing and Rachel McAdams (The Notebook) as Sue Storm/the Invisible Woman.

IESB.net asked Gruffud if he’d tried out for any superhero roles, specifically Superman. But Gruffud said "No, not

Superman," adding that an announcement might come this week. The web site confirmed that Gruffud is up for the role of Mr. Fantastic.
