"Fox has wanted to make this movie for a long time. I'm glad they waited for the right story and the right technology. They certainly got the perfect cast and it's all going to be up there on the big silver screen ... the humor, the drama, the adventure, the action, the fun ... all the things that make them so fantastic."

Lee has appeared in most Marvel films that have been released which are based on his original characters. Although his role in the Fantastic Four is his most extensive thus far as he plays mailman Willie Lumpkin.

Lee has had cameos in Spider-Man 2, Hulk, Daredevil, Spider-Man, and X-Men as well. He has also served as executive producer for Blade, X-Men, Blade II, Spider-Man, Daredevil, X2, Hulk, The Punisher, Spider-Man 2, Blade: Trinity, Elektra, Man-Thing, Fantastic Four, and the upcoming Ghost Rider movie.
