Personally, I think if Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four would have had another 30 minutes or so added to its runtime, it would have been more successful than it was. However, a source close to the set revealed that the film was always "ill-conceived, made for the wrong reasons, and there was no vision behind the property." That statement might lead some to believe that Fantastic Four was never going to be good, no matter what happened. While the film had so much potential, the rushed ending was the main reason for the film’s bad reviews.

Anyhow, new concept art has been revealed for the film that gives us a good look at Dr. Doom’s Planet Zero, and Reed’s Dimension Teleporter. The pieces of art below are by Annis Naeem and Jonas De Ro! Take a look at them, then sound off below with your thoughts!

so much wasted potential because of a [frick]tard director and leaving it till the last minute to retain the film rights.

I just saw it last Saturday. Trank failed miserably in trying to "Nolanize" this property.

But the movie itself is kinda entertaining, and could've worked as a tv series pilot if the characters would've got different names.
I guess "Fant4stic" is to Fantastic Four what "Gotham" is to Batman.

The movie's domestic total so far failed to beat the opening weekends of the Tim Story movies... (-_-)'

Film had so much potential.

This is a turd stain Fox will never be able to wipe clean. smh

Still have faith in Trank though, looking forward to all of his future solo projects.

I love when a movie that deserves to fail fails. Everything about this piece of garbage was cynical and soulless. As much as I want to see the FF done right, and would like to see them in the MCU (which are not necessarily the same thing), I'm also curious to see the behind the scenes chaos of Fox trying to make another one, particularly a sequel, and to see it fail just as much.

At a certain point, Charlie Brown doesn't deserve to kick the football.

@DrChimRichalds That is an interdimensional portal which is the result of Reed's work and is used by Doom to destroy our universe, so it starts to suck our dimension into it along with buildings, cars, buses, airplanes, etc...
